I thought there was not enough content

I thought there was not enough content and could have used more examples based around the questions and answers Found it to be boring sometimes and flat and I nearly fell asleep Might have been her tone and delivery Please don t take this as negative Others might see it the same Godbless

Only worth it if you need the certificate

The course just covered what is already available in a free MPI handout that is available online If you need the credits or the certificate you ll need to pay for it But if you are only after the knowledge then the info is available free of cost at MPI

Pace myself

I enjoyed the open book assessment because I learnt so much after the zoom I also liked the that I could sit the course online Highly convenient for me On the Contrary the teacher focused session meant that information retention was not successful Hence the open book assessment allowed me to relearn and understand at my own pace Therefore to improve I would encourage more student participation throughout the learning Perhaps group discussion or set several tasks to aid in information retention comprehension An example may be with answering questions that require reading legislation Not all learners understand how to read statutes Chynelle Tuhi

Good course overall

A good course overall More interaction with participants would be good but can appreciate that due to the large number of online participants it wouldn t be doable in the time frames allowed Quick turn around was great

Online line course started on time

Online line course started on time but disappointed the tutor spent 10 - 20 minutes at very start showing pictures of we she leaves and spoke about herself her business her dishes with pictures her students her position at food and wine Which could of been better spent focusing on the food safety course and more information on the importance of acquiring food safety cert And she rushed through remaining of pamphlet not very impressed

Challenges

I haven t studied in along time and didn t know what to expect with an online course I wish I had the time to print the guide before the course started The hard copy would have helped my learning style better But unfortunate circumstances made that impossible I m not as computer savvy as I would like so I found somethings challenging The course itself was fine

I did learn a lot about chocolate

I did learn a lot about chocolate tips on making chocolate cake tempered chocolate chocolate ganache piping shaping and fancy deco I feel the course is a bit rushed as we finished almost an hour earlier than the schedule I would like to concentrate a bit more when we were doing the practical work after the demo but did get some interruptions and being rushed to get to the next stage The lunch was very short It would be great if we were given 45min-1hr to go out and have our own food instead of having to have the cheese platter and crackers provided on site in a short time
