LCQ on line course

I found the content and delivery very relevant to my needs The presentation itself was slightly frustrated by the constant buffering of the presentation I am thinking that this was due to there being upwards if sixty people on line at the same time Having said that I obtained a great understanding of the subject matter The feedback from the assessment was first class All in all a very worthwhile exercise Thank you

Barista Micro Credential with Jinnie

Really enjoyed being taught by Jinnie she was so kind and caring during the barista micro credential I did feel like I was a little too anxious to absorb absolutely everything because it was my first time back in a classroom in 10 years but I did really enjoy the course and school Everyone was really kind and helpful excited to do the Bartending Micro Credential in a weeks time Helping my motivation and confidence big time
A

Great course but won t make you a barista straightaway

Don t get me wrong The course is already very intensive packed with background knowledge and practical within the one-week time frame Even so there is still quite a gap in terms of experience to make coffee drinks in great consistency with minimum waste of ingredients - pretty much a minimum requirement for barista working in a busy cafe To fill that gap one needs a lot of practice amount extraction milk foam temperature latte art etc and find ways to do that It is only after one has mastered these that s he is truly a barista graduate

Stretch your wine knowledge with NZSFW

I enjoyed studying the course in person with other keen students and a knowledgeable tutor WSET Level 3 is a packed interesting course with a lot of learning Start reading early Celia Hay is a knowledgeable and well connected wine tutor She uses good visual maps to help make sense of and illustrate the vast amount of wine region information NZSFW is a good central city venue with parking next door Easy to find good learning spaces The course is quite intense and you should be prepared to study for this as you cover a lot of ground in a fairly condensed timeframe Range of tasting practice helps your theoretical understanding
