I ordered a Julian Bowen storage bench

I ordered a Julian Bowen Davenport storage bench in September and waited until December before it was available for delivery Furniture Direct were helpful whenever I called and were accommodating with my delivery time However the only flaw for me was that the item was advertised as fully assembled which is why I chose it When it arrived it was flat-packed and needed to be assembled from scratch which I wasn t too happy about The allen key supplied with it was not a good fit for the screws at all and luckily I had my own tools so was able to use these instead Also the instructions say that it needs two people to put it together and I would agree that it s too heavy for just one person to assemble on their own Once assembled the storage bench is lovely and fits perfectly within the space for which it was ordered

Good Customer Experience

Had to chase a for delivery date but replied promptly then turned around quick Very good overall service price was competitive too Based on my experience I would recommend and use again

Great prices

Great prices delivered on time Only issue was with delivery which the driver said was a doorstep delivery and then dropped at the wrong door - my husband was home alone and asked for the delivery to the front door instead they left it at the back where we had stairs and it had to sit there till my husband managed to get someone to help him lift it into the house - glad it wasn t raining

Mattress delivery

The delivery men phoned as expected and arrived at the time stated Unfortunately they didn t wear face masks which I felt they should have done and where they put the mattress down outside the plastic got wet and muddy I had to clean this off after they had left

Apart from not phoning to confirm

Apart from not phoning to confirm delivery date as they said they would I do not have any complaints Once confirmed delivery was timely and drivers polite I am very pleased with the furniture and I am thinking of ordering another piece from Furniture Direct

The product is excellent Packaged extremely well The only down side was the lack of information about when I could expect my order I am very happy with my purchase

Product arrived on date and time as promised Well packaged but instructions to assemble not entirely clear it would have been helpful if the pieces were numbered along with the item list and clearly identified so that you knew what piece went where Got there eventuallyProduct looks great

Delivery was delayed due to covid but FD were helpful and tried to get items to me as quick as possible Items delivered were well packed and protected and are good quality Not the easiest furniture to assemble but there are a lot of items to piece together and the instructions are good

Great Prices Delivery Times

Fantastic prices and delivery was ahead of quoted timescales of 2-3 weeks Would have appreciated some more communication more advanced notice of delivery 1 day notice however the delivery on the day went smoothly the driver called 45 minutes before to confirm delivery

This is very good quality

This is very good quality Only issue is getting the drawers absolutely square but at least the fittings provided allow the drawer bases to be solidly located once squared up other drawer units I ve assembled have not actually had any such fixings so that s a positive Excellent quality drawer runners Cabinets very solid once fully assembled
