poor service

poor service - booked a call with a case worker the only thing he did was read from the screen each specific question I asked- he kept deflecting to other questions as he simply didn t know the response each time i needed to bring him back to the core of the question- he eventually settled into reading the rules from the Home office page back to me I complained- the response I need to pay again yeah sure I asked for a refund waiting for a response Not much value and it s from someone who has a company who owns a sponsorship license already so I m pretty clued on on a topic- frankly more than IAS IAS responded that they would look into my concerns publicly here - when I raised a complaint as per IAS process and was fully ignored Even worse than I thought

Complete waste of money time

Our advisor not only was extremely late to our meeting but gave us completely incorrect advice wasting months of precious time The questions we asks took weeks to get a response and even then it wasn t helpful I would never use them again and will warn everyone away from wasting their money with IAS I have since used another provider and it was extremely professional fast and helpful with a successful outcome

Looks like a scam smells like a scam Advised me I needed to book a 200 consultation with a lawyer before proceeding with an Irish citizenship by descent application The lawyer in question was rude and not very welcoming at all Seemed to have no patience regarding my questions even though I had paid 200 for her time I followed up with the initial contact in the company after the call and received no reply Don t use them find an alternative or better still do it yourself

Disgraceful Paid 150 to listen to a sales pitch which would have ended up paying 11000 with their fee being paid up front Having done a fact find their advice was inaccurate and unnecessary as our child under 21 merely had to apply for a perfectly valid and legal EU settlement status Paying them was a shakedown - nothing more nothing less

I would give zero if I could Absolutely unprofessional disrespectful and at the end even rude lawyer with no knowledge I paid 150 pounds for an hour consultation where she argued against the current legislation and because she would not listen we got nowhere Now in her letter she pasted the sentence from the gov website which confirms I was right Basically whole letter is just copy paste from the gov website no interest to help whatsoever Not even going to reply to her as sent her 2 emails with my concerns already which she didnt even bother to read Sending complaint instead

Don t let your money at IAS

I would rather rely on ChatGPT than the case workers at IAS They were very unresponsive even when I consistently push them for answers For example I was promised a closing letter within a few days I applied for my visa and the visa was obtained weeks before the closing letter D Further I felt like I knew more about how my documents met the requirements than the case worker herself Absolute joke Save your money do a bit of research online and come out on top

Their website states One of our immigration advisors can discuss your case with you during a free consultation before you choose to go ahead with any of the above legal services After finding out more about your issue and your desired outcome they can tell you a bit more about the legal services we offer which would be the best option for you and how that service can be tailored to your specific needs However if you call you find out that they don t really offer any free initial consultation

Expensive call that gave me no answers

The initial call handler told me that there was a path for a dependent visa in our case paid for an appointment to then be told there wasn t a case Really frustratedthat I ve paid for an appointment to receive the same information I already knew and that there s no route for me to take I was trapped into an appointment that led nowhere

Dreadful service

Dreadful service The French lawyer we spoke to knew less than us regarding visas We never received the promised email summary I sent a complaint email to ias customer service a month ago and have not even had an acknowledgment We got the impression they just want to take money off you for doing the simple visa application form for you I ve done this by myself successfully three times already I wanted actual advice and they didn t know the answer
