Severely overpriced great service has deteriorated

Intermedia disregards Moore s law

They are a reliable host but their linux hosting cap is 30GB since long time After you hit this limit this is what happens imgur dot com slash sNZcWKR

Good when they were Accessline not so good as Intermedia

When Accessline changed names to Intermedia due to a merger or being bought who knows you could see the quality of service decrease slowly Over time the availability of the service was affected There were entire days we were left without phones because of something that happened to intermedia this was the moment we decided to switch to a different company because losing communication with your clients has a bad impact in your business and it s just bad publicity On the other hand their costumer portal at that time was very useful as it allowed us to customize our phone system in a huge amount of ways which is very difficult to do without paying a pretty penny with other vendors

Misled re Integration by Intermedia Sales

Cons - MISLED re INTEGRATION Sales told me that Intermedia integrated with NetSuite It turns out they don t without development NetSuite integration was a key determining factor in choosing Intermedia over others When I cancelled they refused to give back the prorated monthly charges despite the fact that the only reason I left to go to 8x8 was because they didn t integrate - SUPPORT HOLD TIMES I ve called chatted with support at least a dozen times in the six months we were with them It has taken 15 minutes to get someone to help though they are very good once you get them Pros SOUND QUALITY - sound quality was very good SUPPORT QUALITY - support was excellent once you actually get someone

4 calls for 1 problem

Acct 5180 on 7 16 i made 4 calls about an email issue 1st tech identified problem 2nd call was bad voip connection 3rd tech REFUSED to rdp to see resolve issue 4th tech solved problem in 5 min SHAME ON YOU for hiring 3

Over zealous marketing

Intermedia run our Exchange servers and as such are very good However you then get bombarded with marketing for all their other services which is intrusive In the marketing E mails there is no easy click and unsubscribe button so you cant even stop the messages REALLY ANNOYING and puts me off using them for any other service I have tried E Mailng them to stop the messages to no avail

Just to make a note that Intermediate posted a response to my previous review of their poor service Hello Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I apologize for the lack of response from your account manager We have contacted your AM and his manager directly to have them follow-up with you today Of course neither my AM nor his manager followed up with me Just confirming what i said before Zero post sale support

The Easyjet of hosted email

The Easyjet of hosted email All good when everything works However if anything stopped working you can expect nothing If your email is critical and time sensitive I would suggest to look around Last week their email service failed Friday and this morning 3 days later there has been any information or explanation to the clients That s really bad customer service Just like easyjet

Customer Suport virtually non-existant

I ve been working with them for years as a reseller but my recent experience with them is more than disappointing Must have called customer support at least 20 times to no avail Web support did reply but have been unable to resolve a simple problem even after escalating it to 2nd line support Now we re stuck and I have to look elswhere

One of the worst support experiences I have ever had

I used anymeeting by intermedia for like 5 years paid every month All the sudden I couldnt login and password recovery had been disabled by their admin I called support they wanted to remotely access my system to fix my account being locked then after that guy hung up on me when he put me on hold the next support guy said that there was no billing problem but he was going to send me to billing to reset my password because he couldnt find my account I complained on their social media and they banned me We had to change the platform for our weekly meetings wont be changing it back If they are outsourcing their support and social presence they need to change providers
