Support team lacks basic courtesy

I have been hosting few websites with this company though I have not had any issues with the hosting the company s customer support is an absolute crap Whenever I create a ticket about an issue and ask for clarifications the support team only gives half-baked answers instead of completely clarifying everything I believe it is basic courtesy to make sure customers don t have anything left unanswered and this company s customer service team don t even seem to have this basic trait It s interesting to know that companies like this take money promptly for their services and still are not ashamed to provide crappy support experience like this I raised this issue directly with the support team and they still did not reply subsequent tickets in full Hence this review to expose their disgraceful customer service

Poor support service attitude

I am really disappointed with the support They tell me that I have sent more than 1000 emails from my account today but I have already checked with the tools they offer that it is not so They still won t activate the sending of emails I have to wait 24 hours Can you imagine I am having an affectation to my business and losing customers and they do not have the sensitivity to help me I have been a customer of theirs since 2020 I have never had these problems I did not send any junk mail or that has exceeded that limit few emails were sent today not even with screenshots can they understand it Their email counters are useless besides they tell me to change to Boost 2 or Boost 4 I don t need to change package and financially it is not possible for me We as a company do not send as many emails as Support says At most 40 emails a day

Tech was very good chat wait time terrible

The tech Suparno who finally attended to my chat was very good Answered all my questions Updated my account for me Was very polite very knowledgeable The wait time however was horrendous Started at 18 in line with 1 5 hr wait time which I felt was reasonable But as my place in line decreased to 9 my wait time increased first to 2 hours then to 3 I persevered made dinner ate did the dishes some filing cleaned my a c filter sorted thru some books suddenly I heard the tweep alerting me someone was ready to chat Maybe it was the time I initiated chat late in the day that mattered I chatted before w someone interserver net the wait time was much shorter 30 min But the tech I chatted with then took much longer pauses to answer my questions Or so it seemed I did a lot of research on hosting companies before I selected interserver net The only ones who were Johnny-on-the-spot with chat were ones that charged comparatively big bucks The only ones who had competitive pricing were overseas - their response to emails times were non-existant or had a 24 hr lag time in response none were around when I tried to chat although they boasted 24 7 support I m just getting started with interserver net hosting Site Pad so am hopeful once I get the hang of things started after the update Suparno did on my DNS propagation I will be rolling need for support won t be such an issue Overall I feel they offer a good product for what they charge And I eventually got good support after a lengthy waiting period so I ll stick with them hope I don t need to contact them often

very urgent InterServer online service team all are kind and good but live chat it s terrible working please you have to do something updated with the new systems which can work easily and rapidly

It took a very long time to get my problem solver many many messages for a simple solution the staff were very courteous and we got the problem solved after hours of messaging

So far I have used your services within hours but I m impressed especially with the support However I need to use it for some time before I can say anything further

Though it was a bit strenuous

Though it was a bit strenuous because I haven t done something like this before this was my first experience in hosting a site Though I have been into programming for long buy thank God I was able to take a bold step on my own

Support Problems

I have been on Interserver for about 4-5 years and most of that time the service has been very good however it has gone downhill rapidly over the past 2-3 weeks I have had nothing but problems as Interserver tried to replace servers that weren t working with other servers and then reverted back to the original server That going back-and-forth has led to constant turmoil This morning I am unable to reach my server at all my email is not working I m losing important emails and I ve had three open trouble tickets with no response for about two hours Edit After I wrote this review Stacey an Interserver Manager contacted me and took a personal interest in resolving my problems I appreciate her help
