Aberystwyth Wetherspoons - spot on

As a regular in Aberystwyth Wetherspoons I have yet to find fault with their food their service or their beer The staff always seem friendly and know what they re doing and the food is always well cooked well presented and usually at your table quickly I had one day where it was a bit slower than I liked but I understand they were short staffed due to illness that day - so I can make allowances For me - the Aberystwyth Spoons should be a flagship for all other Spoons Keep up the good work Recommended to all

Wetherspoons Central Bar Windsor Place Cardiff

Four friends and myself had Christmas lunch at Central Bar Cardiff today the Manager Bemi Fisher was extremely helpful as they had run out of red onion chutney for the pate but he went out of his way to get if for us The service was excellent the food was excellent We were all impressed with Bemi he is a charming young man and couldn t do enough for us WE will definitely be going there again

Our 4th Table Tennis Club s Christmas Dinner at Sir Michael Balcon

The Manager his Staff once again did us proud 32 of us sat down to our 4th Christmas Dinner and we ll be back for our 5th Each year we have a sell out and it was only on our 1st visit that we wondered how it would go Word gets round each year and now we have a Sold Out notice by early December The only disappointed people are those who don t confirm their place quickly enough How on earth Wetherspoon can do this Christmas Dinner at such a low cost is beyond me But we are so pleased that they can do So Thanks HAPPY CHRISTMAS from Perivale Table Tennis Club Peter Wiseman

Big Spoons fan has been further impressed

We travel a lot and always seek out a Weatherspoon pub restaurant Most are really good Obviously we ve been impressed in different degrees over many visits to certain ones in our different living areas After travelling around for 38 years in the Military we are now in North Wales Our local in Shotton is very good but recently we have been going a bit further to Overpool Mold and Holywell regularly I felt I d have to mention Holywell for food atmosphere and in particular a bar maid called Michelle she is amazing no matter how busy she is It doesn t show and you have her full Kind attentive and happy service with many a smile and a bit of banter She s a real asset She was the only one on the bar at a busy breakfast time today 9 9 16 she coped fantastic even with all those fancy coffees etc that take time

Roebuck in Rayleigh Went there this early evening a young girl barmaid with long black hair tattoos on her arms if anyone wants to learn about customer service she is the person Warmth Very Efficient Friendly Understood our needs etc etc etc best customer service I have ever received I was aware of this due to owning a retail business and knowing how important service is

Another fantastic meal By far the best vegetarian food of all the pub chains I ve visited the five bean chilli burrito is to die for Excellent have been weekly for last two years

Bought 2 meals one had a free drink mine the other not the missus The barman said he d use the more expensive of the drinks the missus as the freebie with the meal mine It only saved a little bit but a nice gesture 5 s as the grub was spot on too

So good to see vegan food in UK pubs and great value too We would love to see vegan wines and beers on the menu with a symbol to say which are free from gelatine and fish guts please
