A horrible experience
I have now given up ever getting my 1000 deposit back from Lux motorhomes Thankfully the deposit was paid using my credit card Therefore I have had this reimbursed by my credit card company who are now making a claim against Lux Motorhomes In the meantime I have also submitted a claim within companies house for the directors to be investigated Our whole holiday from start to finish was a complete nightmare There were numerous issues with the van which made it a horrible experience When we were driving one of the securing nuts which fix the bed to the railing sheared recoiled off the table and hit my 3-year old in the face 5 days into our holiday the motorhome broke down which meant we were stranded on the North Coast of Scotland for 2 days with limited food water and gas Thankfully a hire car was sent to us so that we could drive home To Lux Motorhomes credit they did reimburse me the full approx 2 500 for the van due to the breakdown and also for the campsites we missed out on This money appeared in my bank account approx 2 weeks after the transaction However their behaviour with regards to my 1000 deposit has been disgraceful The only communication I have received is 2x phone calls from Donald and 2x emails explaining that the reason for the situation was due to their credit card company holding onto a number of deposits I attempted to call Lauren countless times but no response These people are not fit to operate a company ever again Hopefully my claim submitted to companies house helps with this

Shocking service
Shocking service Too many problems to list all but main issues 1 Advertised and took payment for van didn t have 2 Mishandled dealing with an accident that we were blameless in Took nearly 2 months to return our deposit 3 Mechanical issues with van 4 Poor communication Offered chance to resolve this directly with me before doing review Have ignored all emails Really disappointed Claire

Pleas do not use this company
Please do not use this so called company we dropped our motor home of on the 13th Sept since then we are still waiting for our 1000 deposit back The communications for this query as been very poor there as only been 2 email sent to me The 1st says its was the card company they use paused on all transactions because there as been fraudulent actions with their bank The 2nd was that the card company has pulled their contract for no apparent reason Lux continued to say it was up to me to claim my 1000 back of a dispute with my personal bank This is certainly not the way to run a proper business Make no bones about this this is clearly fraud and definitely theftPlease do not use this company it will ruin your holiday for sure

Deposit not refund
There are several of us customers who are still waiting for the refund of the deposit from this summer They do the refund operation wrong but they blame their card company for the delay The truth is that they are still holding on to our money

Please be warned and ensure you read Google reviews for the latest updates about this company We are still awaiting 1000 deposit back after it being authorised and so are many other clients Unable to contact by phone or email Very upsetting and stressful Do not use this company they are obviously in financial debt and cannot honour their contracts

Do not deal with this company They are fraudulent Ive rang messaged sent messenger WhatsApp website chat voice messages emails and no one is contacting me back They have even blacked me on social media Shocking service Do not use this company Your phone line is not connecting it wont ring through to you are you aware Ive aslo tried the mobile number we were given and no one is answering this either My 1000 deposit which was refunded to my card has not hit my bank from the 21st Sept 2024Can you not meet your financial obligations

Yup like many others Pick up and drop off was fine The card machine was down who knows if that s the truth and the lady was now on holiday again who knows Still waiting for my deposit back No email response message and phone isn t ringing at all Will be contacting police and lawyers DO NOT HIRE from them
