Do Not Lease From Mercedes

After handing back a near perfect car below the agreed mileage I was invoiced for charges over 700 I argued with MBFS as its within their return standards listed on their site but these standards come with additional terms for example small dents under 5mm are allowed except dents on high profile panels ie boots bonnets wheel arches etc are not acceptable So you can have a small dent 5mm except it cannot be on any panel of the car MBFS are not a member of any leasing authority like BVRLA so there is no third party to lodge a complaint through It baffles me as they could charge an extra 20 a month to cover these costs and no one would argue but these charges at the end of lease leave a bad taste and stops repeat buyers If you have to buy a Mercedes please do not lease

Won t return my 7000 over payment

I made a 7000 lump sum payment in August toward paying off my Mercedes Then in September MBFS took another unauthorized 7000 from my bank account plus the normal payment which not only paid off my car but left them owing me money After numerous phone calls and being lied to about when they would reimburse me I still don t have a check I ve been trying since September 21st to get the 7000 returned This is unacceptable and I agree with the other negative reviews They are an unscrupulous company and I will never do business with them again This in my opinion puts a stain on the entire Mercedes company

An automated system that s like a scene from fonejacker Jump through the hoops to finally get a settlement figure Press 1 if you are the agreement holder 3 times it doesn t recognise me and then cuts me off You couldn t make it up

Complete disgrace of a company

Complete disgrace of a company Has tried to charge me for end of lease damages with no proof or evidence for most charges and also contradicts their own charge matrix available online on other charges Have contested the charges only for them to take one charge out completely surprised and lowered the charges for 3 other items expecting me to accept a lower figure even though this is so wrong Still provided no photos of exact damaged caused They are now threatening me with court action This is how loyalty is reciprocated when you lease out mercedes cars for your fleet for many years Wrong on so many levels

Absolutely awful service from such a large company Changed a payment date have a screenshot of the payment date being next month but has been taken the month before so have paid twice for my car this month three months into the agreement this is a really rubbish service Customer services Aidan completely unhelpful and i may hear back within the next 15 working days If I could rate this less than 1 star I would

Can t give zero stars Appalling service from the finance arm of Mercedes They have an sla of 10 days to reply to extension queries instead they take 20 working days to provide an extortionate quote for a 3 months extension and know you have no time to secure a different option Never again will I use Mercedes again

DO NOT USE MBFS I have leased many trucks over the years never had any issues on returning them at the end of contract A few acceptable charges along the way Mercedes however have just charged me 625 for polishing out light scratches on a 3 year old truck with 30 000 miles on it A COMMERCIAL vehicle I ve tried to argue this through every means possible other than going to court I was worried it will affect credit rating so couldn t take it this far Absolute disgrace of a company they ll never get a penny out of me again PLEASE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS PRIOR TO LEASING THROUGH MBFS

I have never in 20 years of leasing cars come across such a bunch of smug ignorant incompetent ars s as MBFS who fabricate faults and inflate charges for repairs they never carry out who I think are working in league with BCA as a means of extracting money from end of lease customers I wanted to have my day in court with them but my wife was not up to it Avoid these crooks at all costs and spread the word
