Mira Opero - avoid until they sort out the issues

Purchased a Mira opero a few years ago and had the engineer out 4 times so far keep getting the same part failing the part in question is the padels built in to the shower these are used for the buttons to operate on and off when they fail you are unable to turn the shower off and you have to shut the water off I think anyone with these issues should get an extended warranty as I don t want to pay 150 everytime these paddles fail

Mira shower -Poor quality and waste of money

Purchased this model Mira Azora 9 8kW Thermostatic Electric Shower Frosted Glass Product ID PWMI0214The shower head handle has white ring at the end joining the hose made of cheap quality plastic The ring cannot stand the weight of the shower head and started to leak within a weeks purchase and then snapped before 2 years of use Mira now tells me to buy new shower head and new hose for 80 and this is within 2 years

I m still waiting on a response regarding my faulty shower I would like a refund Please advise how I should send it back

They should include the price for the optional part As the longer pipe I didn t need it Charging me 35 06 just for a135mm pipe Purchased last week

We are still struggling to not having to keep resetting it Very frustrating

Went to replace my myra shower with a

Went to replace my myra shower with a new myra shower but plumber had difficulty fitting as the connection from pipe to shower wouldn t fit so had to adapt pipe plus not enough force even when full on so very disappointed

Whrn it rains it pours

When we use the ordinary shower the Monsoon element leaks The effect is frustrating I would not recommend

Useless rude grumpy helpline guy

I have a Mire Atom mixer and I have just bought a Mira replacement hose from BQ which is where I got the shower mixer from as the current hose has worn a bit The replacement hose does not fit I tried both ends as I was assured it would fit I tried and tried but it wasn t going to fit I didn t want to force it as I didn t want to damage the plastic thread I called the helpline to explain my problem and if there was anything I was doing wrong The guy just kept saying to me that it would fit and that I d damaged the hose connection end I had not It is not damaged and this Mira hose does not fit I took the old hose out of the dustbin and it fits So this guy at Mira was wrong and rude at the same time I called them at 11 50 27 01 2025 Not happy I now know that I have to purchase the original part so grumpy helpline guy was useless

charged 80 but haven t done repairs

they have charged 80 from me doing nothing to my shower which is not working and in warranty period and put a sticker on it saying dont use it

341 for 4 screw covers

I emailed to ask for help sourcing the 4 front panel screw covers as ours had been damaged The response was that they weren t available separately and I needed to purchase an entire new panel at the cost of 341 For 4 tiny screw covers I ve never received a more unhelpful or less sustainable response to a customer enquiry And if this is a ploy to up sales sadly it s not going to be the case this time round and I won t part with 341 In fact it will stop me purchasing Mira units in the future What a pity - just hoped for a little help in return for a couple of my hard earned pounds
