Never again - Extremely difficult to contact

1 Extremely difficult to contact 2 Online systems not working efficiently 3 Was on hold for over an hour on two lines 4 For health reasons to cancel again had to contact them TWICE as it wasn t done correctly by someone the first time Have never before given any reviews on Trustpilot but doing it this time as am utterly disappointed

First engineer said everything was fine

First engineer said everything was fine but as it continued to cut out another visit arranged Second engineer said he didn t think it was connected straight to the mains this advice was accepted but shower had not been working properly for nine months Charged 80for visit why didn t first Engineer locate problem Still waiting for Mira to deal with complaint now nearly six months terrible service

Digital shower too complicated and over

Digital shower too complicated and over priced Controller lost connection with valves unit after 1 week and had to be reset I took time to register shower on Mira website but surprisingly it took me to domestic and general insurance to register so I am guessing it s just to sell me extended warranty insurance

New Mira shower unit faulty twice

Purchased Mira Sprint recently and only after 1 week the heating element failed As it was brand new and under warranty I contacted Mira They would rather send a new part than send an engineer If the fault was ours we would be charged 80 Unfortunately it has happened once again I have contacted Mira only to be palmed off again This time I asked for a new shower unit but was informed that they do not do this as I had not purchased it from Mira I would need to contact the retailer I bought it from This is totally unacceptable In the meantime my family and I are now left without a working shower We certainly will not purchase a Mira product in future Terrible service

I have just bought the Mira Atom ERD

I have just bought the Mira Atom ERD Shower upon trying to install the shower the riser pipe is to tall but hey Mira have a solution to this there is a shorter 135mm pipe for this reason listed in the manual Now I have just paid 230 for this shower I promptly ring Mira customer services Yes there is a pipe but it will cost me 32 or 34 I think it was inc VAT and P P Wow if this is common that they need to offer this pipe it should be included or offer 2 separate packs Can t believe it on the price listing it should say 230 00 but it may cost 266 Why do companies feel its OK to rip people off I have to buy this shorter pipe and I left with the longer pipe the shower came with which will end up in the bin Not happy

Mira Excel body replacement

Bought a Mira Excel body to replace an existing one Cannot remove the 2 tails on the new one unless you have a 12mm Allen key on the old body you can remove with a radiator tool but not the new Also needed to fit a new backplate as it is different which needs new holes drilled in the tiles Job took far longer than anticipated

Mira Azora Dual Electric Shower

This shower is quite expensive around 400 in my opinion over priced The shower throughput has no real power through the hand held attachment and even less through the Rainfall head which I thought was pretty pathetic Due to the lack of power it does not rinse the soap away on shower floor making it rather risky for those with unsure footing The hand held could do with an adjustable head for a more powerful stream My landlord bought this as previous Mira shower packed in I wouldn t purchase one of these myself in future

Unresolved problem - app not pairing

Recently had a new Mira Platinum shower installed It works fine but I can t get the app to pair with the controller Tried on two different phones but no joy I m very comfortable with this stuff but I can t find a work around I contacted Mira through the website a week ago and got a we ve got your query auto response but nothing since Not impressed

Brake down in 2 years

Shower looks lovely nice design but worked just 2 years and some days We must to buy new one and replace as repairing cost more as get new one

Mira service

Have bought many Mira showers over the years but feel that Mira don t really want to come out to do the under warranty work Our shower efficiency has definitely dropped over the last year and explained this to Cameron at customer services They will do their best to warn you if they come out and find no fault with the shower they will charge you 80Really puts you off Mira showers and their service had a poor experience on my last Mira service call where they made an excuse in the terms of warranty to get out of the repair Not happy would not recommend their service
