The product is just fair It worked well for a few days and then only intermittently Slow to sync drops calls and freezes Bummed but s it happens Money lost

Hi there the device works pretty good mostly There are four issues one a major issue which lead me to my two star rating 1 I had a bug twice now where I take a call through Apple CarPlay connected via Pairr For some reason the caller can t hear me and I can t hear them It then turns out that there is no signal coming from the loudspeakers anymore Even if I disconnect pairr there is no sound from the loudspeakers anymore Even if I switch to radio or some other media source To fix it I have to restart my Mercedes command system This is a really bad bug 2 When you connect your phone via Pairr a really ugly screen shows up o the infotainment It looks like some firmware screen or something It shows the Bluetooth name to connect to This is not pretty but would be ok if it was only there once to setup the connection Unfortunately this screen shows up briefly every time I connect Feels like hacking my 150k car and looks terrible 3 The page makes it seem like you are buying a US product In reality the pairr is shipped from China and took ages to get here So be aware of that 4 The pairr page hides rankings below 3 5 stars The supposed rating of 4 8 5 makes me think they also don t count them into their own ranking Quite shady If the device was 40 or 50 USD max I would give it 4 stars The price tag is way too high Congrats on the company for scoring such a big margin How much is it 10000 gain

Worked perfectly for the first 3 months until it started to freeze up I was advised that I do a firmware update which fixed the issue 2 weeks later it started to freeze up again and incoming calls would ring and answer with a delay It was also very glitchy switching on and off on its own When I advised customer service they recommended I do an update which was only available on Windows PC I don t have a Windows PC I told them Apparently there is no other option So Im stuck with a glitchy unit That is not what I paid for Disappointed Waste of money I have gone back to using a cable to connect to Car Play

When it works it works well very happy with the performance in that respect However it is slow to connect and loses Bluetooth pairing every 5 or 6 trips which requires me to forget the device on my iPhone and re-pair It s not that big a deal but I actually just find it easier and quicker to plug my phone in each time so I don t use it anymore

Update After a couple of days I was contacted and the customer service person was helpful and responsive Unfortunately the device will not work with my Sony XAV-AX1000 head unit CarPlay shows and works in every other way but there is no audio Let s see if I can easily return it for a refund Original review When it does not work on your system they do not reply to emails or contact through their website So much for 100 Satisfaction and 24 7 Support

My original post was flagged however I can verify my purchase and wanted to post again so others save their money The idea for the device is great but the functionality isn t the best I had it less than a day before static kept making me need to re-plug it in By the 4th day I was tired of reconnecting it just for the static to come back pretty quickly so I disconnected it and tried to reattach my wire but it messed up my car and I had to reset my car Then when I was trying to refund this product it wasn t a smooth process and costly to return Not worth the expensive amount for such static I just chose to go back to a wired system sadly
