Delivery slow and have to pay return postage

Delivery slow but was notified by courier when parcel was due 14 day returns policy is ridiculous Not long enough and using returns portal is tiresome Also having to pay return postage is not fair as most other companies don t do this Plus point bought 2 pairs of printed trousers for me and leggings for grand daughter in sale which were good quality and great price Staff in store can be stand offish and rude or just totally ignore you

Shop would not refund phones did

bought items and they arrived promptly i did not rate the quality of items so asked for return which they sent details for although they did not provide return postage despite their products mot being of good quality no problem i thought there is a local peacocks which I can return to as return process advised How wrong I was I just tried to return items to local store and they quite simply did not know how to do their job They could not understand the paperwork provided by online return process and as there had been an online discount they just could not make their own system give refund It wan t that they were being purposely difficult its just that they were clearly undertrained and did not have the foggiest of what to do I asked them whether they were reclining refund and they said they were not but they were just not giving it to me they wanted me to contact customer service despite me standing in front of them in an empty shop they had no intention of doing it themselves until 20 mins later when I was walking out saying I was going to complain if I had stayed longer I would of been late for work I have now emailed into store with my complaint and requesting free return will likely follow that up with a phone call But just for your records Peacock order 104990099 was attempted to be returned to local store on 22 dec 2022 within return dates which end on the 24th decI will update this review as time goes on as issue is ongoing ----------------So I contacted the shop by phone and they agreed to accept return and pay return postage and once item was returned these refunds were processed From first call to last refund it took about a month with three calls a couple of emails and the carrier order Considering the speed of my contacts this was reasonable and the call handlers were always polite and helpful enough to up star rating but this extra month should not of been needed

Received my parcel from peacocks today

I have not received the 2 pyjama sets for my autistic daughter Evri who is your chosen courier have claimed that they tried to deliver on Saturday 10 12 22 but I didn t answer is not true I was home all day and so was my sister no one rang the doorbell or made any contact with me In addition the image of delivery attempt on Evri tracking is just a brown screen no image of parcel or the flat building or door etc the image is just a brown blur There is no contact information for Evri apart from automated online chat which is restricted to providing exact information as the updates UPDATE I have finally received my parcel today in the evening 11 12 22 The driver was kind helpful delivered to my door I have emailed Peacocks Customer Care to inform them that I have received the items so no need to enquiry with Evri- have attached the photo of the parcel received with the email The pyjamas are very lovely and my daughter loves them In the future Evri needs to improve customer communication and provide relevant tracking information So have changed from 1 star to 3 stars rating

Online order updates poor

Update - Changed from 1 star to 3 star I eventually discovered that my delivery had been at my local store for two weeks This information was provided when I logged into my online account never received a confirmation email or text The shop assistant was very polite and apologetic about this which redeemed the experience slightly Actual products were fine thankfully I was able to give them as gifts in time for Christmas Ordered five items on 28th November items dispatched 30th November Two weeks later they still haven t arrived I ve been checking my email daily including spam for updates When I originally rang customer services the recorded message said to wait up to 7 working days So I did Still nothing Can t get through to the helpline waited over 40 minutes with no answer The order includes gifts for 4 people including two children The stress and upset this is causing is ridiculous If I knew Peacocks used a courier service instead of their own delivery vans - like most companies for click and collect - I wouldn t have ordered Nothing less than express delivery to replace the missing order will get it here before I visit family for Christmas Order number 105076668

Appalling Delivery

The products were fine and the price was ok The deliver was on time but the delivery company left the parcel outside of my property without knocking or ringing the bell I just happened to see the van drive away and looked outside Use a reputable delivery company in future

Not sure if I would order online again

My online order arrived in bags that were literally bursting at the seams Most items were on hangers which had either poked a hole in the bags or snapped in half The returns process was time consuming and I had to pay to send the items back I couldn t return to store as I had paid using PayPal something I wish I d been made aware of when paying Fortunately I received my refund within a few days of returning the unwanted items which was a relief after reading the terrible reviews on here although I did use Royal Mail tracked and signed for I don t think I would place an order online again too much hassle and cost

I like my local Peacocks

I like my local Peacocks They have a lot of choice and can usually find something I like However one thing that really annoys me and puts me off shopping there is the returns process They ask so many questions that I am NEVER asked anywhere else I find it intrusive DO not understand why they need so much A deterrent to returning something

Ok so i ordered online

Ok so i ordered online 2 cami tops which were perfect also 2 prs of pj s bottoms which i must say at 14 a pr they were a great fit great material but why the hell are they so damn long im 5 6 and these would fit a 6ft plus person I can actually hoist them up to my breasts and they still long get a grip peacocks have different lengths its not rocket science

ONLINE RUBBISH wrong item INSTORE B-O-S AMAZING

I bought trousers online as i have always had trousers from here and didnt think much of it however when they arrived they were incorrect and not jersey material as stated The returns side of it was so complex it really made my anxiety crazy i did the online returns stuff then it said i can take it back to store in one bit then said if i paid with pay pal i cant then when i phoned them as i just couldnt handle the web page anymore the guy was poliet enough but he said i would have to go into store then call them while i am in store to get the refund and then loads of other stuff or take it to the post office but take a photo of this and that and do blah blah it was all too much AND i would have to pay to return it im not working at the moment and every penny counts so cant afford to lose money on THEIR MISTAKE any way long story short never ordering online ever again as seems they cant send the correct stuff and its a nightmare to return I CANNOT PRAISE the two staff i dealt with in the Burnham on sea branch enough however today They were super supportive and helpful and sorted everything out for me i have lost the postage i paid however that s a loss ill have to take this time they couldn t sort that side out in store which is fair enough we did an exchange which bless them again was not easy due to the item i had been sent which came with no tags either which was odd and when i did the online returns form one part said i ordered a size 10 ha ha i wish that was my size anyway FAB job Burnham on sea branch and Shame on you for the online stuff and warehouse you need to sort it out Also please feel free to contact me as i have left three emails so far with no reply at all no surprise there
