I ordered two tops online in the sale They did arrive on time but looked nothing like the online photos I am a size10 and one way too tight and the other dropped off me with the v cut neck was down to my navel Both materials felt very thin I visited the store for a exchanged but struggled to find anything of any decent quality I can get the same stuff at primark for half the price Very disappointed The staff was very nice in the Arnold shop and I had great customer service though

New changing rooms needed in Bolton
Tried items on in 2 different changing rooms at the Bolton store today I couldn t wait to get out of both They were dirty with holes in the walls and one had no hooks and the other no chair Felt grubby after my visit Well priced items some of which l bought and a friendly lady served me so not all bad

Shopping in the dark
Shopping in PortTalbot shop and 4 30 pm lights were knocked off and shop became dark I thought they were closing so stopped shopping and went to counter another shopper asked what time they closed and said 5 30 it s protocol to knock lights off and lock door hour before The lights going out made shop look closed and customers in there stop buying

I ordered the Womens Cream Oversized Coat which looked a light cream in the photos When it came it is a much darker beige also it is huge so really unflattering I am taking it back to store as I don t think it is right you should have to pay return delivery when the item is not as described

I have been shopping with Peacocks for around 20 years probably around the time their Helston store opened Now gone I have always liked their range prices and tolerated the occasional poor stitching and bizarre sizing differences For some time I have been using their online service I am now partially agoraphobic but now I ve had enough This last order I had everything in the same size but one pair of shorts would barely have fit a child They suggest advertise Evri on the paperwork and I made the mistake of booking a collection I ve written a separate review for them My printer died and Evri messed me around then RM messed up by sending the parcel back to me I asked Peacocks for help perhaps arrange a collection We don t do that was basically their reply Really unhelpful I have now managed to return two parcels to them the second included the shorts in a larger size everything else was a size smaller and had plenty of room--these were still far too small--whatever but I had to pay 7 for something which is THEIR fault As soon as I get my refund I am closing my account

Sadly my local store has closed with the nearest now 30 miles away I like their stuff a lot but if you order under a certain amount the delivery charges soon add up and with no local store here and no Click and Collect to any other destinations nearby the delivery cost is prohibitive There are plenty of Click and Collect stores in the area and other retailers offer delivery to them so why don t Peacocks

went into Halifax store on 2 consecutive days both girls on the till where not at all helpful and I felt as if I was stopping them from doing something else also questioned about Blue light card if it was mine my daughter was with me and she works for NHS she was also questioned not happy don t think I will shop in this branch again

Returns are a nightmare
The returns process is so convoluted that I will not order from Peacocks again Clearly no one has thought about how someone might actually follow the process with all the instructions the link to the courier and the address label printed on the document you have to put inside the package Added confusion is created when you re given a returns reference number which isn t your return code this is a separate number included in a pdf you have to download to access No information on how the item should be physically returned is included in this document the only place this information is available is on the piece of paper that you are told to put in the package Use this label if you don t have access to a printer you are helpfully instructed and then when you follow the link to the courier you need to print a label anyway You re also charged 2 99 regardless of what return method you choose All because the way the item has been photographed on the website does not accurately reflect its true colour which as the customer is no fault of mine

Do not bother going to the Peacocks store in Nuneaton if you are looking for any sort of customer service Took two items to the till costing nearly 40 The assistant never acknowledged me Just kept talking to another assistant No hello No thank you and no goodbye How rude

No problem with ordering on line or delivery to store The staff member at Somercotes was the problem I took a return in and having clearly interrupted her chatter she looked at me and barked receipt I wasn t sure if it was a question or a statement until she barked it again I explained I didn t have one so she said can t refund without one At which point another voice piped up returns note This I understood So grabbing my return and turning on my heel I left the store unhappy No hello smile can I help just plain loud rudeness I will NOT be returning to that store again
