Storm s telephone manner was exemplary However of the 2 issues I asked her to sort out only one was registered It took a further 3 calls to get both issues sorted However both issues were completed to my entire satisfaction so all s well that ends well

Sean came across very well and was able to book my boiler service in a timely manner However he made an error of addressing me as null rather than my actual name and this is very personal for any customer

The free boiler service offered is a misrepresentation on what the engineer actually does The engineer barely spent 15 minutes doing a cursory check the condensation trap was not cleaned and pressure was not topped up even though it was barely in the green Plusheat service report indicates engineer spent 40 minutes when in fact he spent 15 minutes I encourage Plusheat to respond to this review for further details Service so far does not I still confidence the company will actually provide cover if I actually need to repair my boiler

overpriced renewal quote reduced after call

Franky was polite and gave me the reduced cost I was seeking However it took me a while to get her to agree A person less adept at negotiation may not have fared so well Must say Franky was only following company policy Not her fault I dont like the practice of increasing the premium unless someone complains Seems a bit underhand

be careful at renewal

I took out boiler insurance with Plusheat as a landlord I did this via a comparison site they wrote to me towards the end of the year to say they would be rolling on my insurance and I didn t need to do anything 5 months later I try to arrange the boiler service included with the insurance to find that I was no longer covered Apparently the email the sent me was incorrect as I had taken the insurance via a comparison site it did NOT automatically roll over So there I was with no cover I made them cover me and waive the 30 day exclusion and complete the boiler service During that period I had MANY incorrect automated emails asking me for payment during the exclusion period NOT an ideal process triggered by their incorrect email at the year end The staff are vey nice but the computer says no

It took a little explanation of my situation at the start of the call and in the middle of the call and a discussion between three customer success agents to come to the right conclusion Shawn did call me back immediately with an apology and hopefully my refund will be received in due course

Updated still no booking

Still no booking for a service despite repeated calls and promises Update Plus heat have responded to the review and have promptly provided a booking for tomorrow I m much happier to know this but disappointed it took a review to move the matter along

Awaiting confirmation of refund after overcharged

Haven t had the promised email confirming my payments are being reverted to the correct price after being over charged for 2 months and the refund for over payments made

Wasn t a fan of having to pay upfront for call out fee and then for extra draining system not covered by plan The amount of admin constantly delayed the call out regardless of me paying asap Also I had never had to pay upfront for work prior to a call out before which I m not a fan of The contractor they sent out was great and the heating is now fixed so can t fault that
