Rent heros helped me saving 50000 DKK in a year They worked so efficiently and made a settlement with the landlord and made it possible to get back all my overpaid rent and deposit with interest I highly recommend that all those who are living in rent controlled houses should at least try Rent Heros and ask them to review your rental agreements

A highly recommend service

A highly recommend service We found out about Rent Hero from our neighbors we reached out to Rent Hero and they got ontop of our case shortly after we stated our situation Both Mads and Alex were very honest and transparent from the get go they kept us constantly updated along the way and answered all of our questions right away and honestly The process was not speedy to win the case as our landlords were delaying ignoring the case but Rent Hero kept putting pressure on them up until we reached an agreement We thank Rent Hero for their hard work and perseverance We would highly recommend them to anyone who feels like they being done in by their landlord

Friendly efficient and transparent

I contacted Rent Hero because me and my roommates believed that we might be paying too much rent Less than 24 hours later I received an email from Alex asking for more information regarding our case We discussed all the specific on the phone the following day and Alex really took the time the explain all the details and answer all my questions Although we decided not to pursue the case as we were advised not to due to our specific living situation the phone call discussion helped me understand what our best options were Bonus point we were made aware that we might be charged too much for our water bill so we might save a few bucks on that

40 rent reduction

RentHero reduced my rent by almost 40 I first tried to negotiate with the landlord myself without success Theoretically I could have submitted my case to the housing court but their website states that it will take up to 1 year to get a case reviewed in Copenhagen I knew I wouldn t be able to handle the communication in Danish plus the stress that comes with such a situation Both Alex and Mads have been professional and speedy in their communication updated me on everything and negotiated with an extremely difficult landlord over several months I can not recommend them enough Btw if you don t want a shared winnings scheme you can also pay RentHero by the hour

Got My Full Deposit Back Amazing Professional Services

Rent Hero has been a great experience for me and I received my full deposit back from my landlord on my rental property Alex and his team were very friendly and helpful during the FREE CONSULTATION when they listened to my case and told me how they could help out They ve also agreed to split the payment for their services into two parts half up-front and the other half at the end of the settlement As an expat who doesn t read or speak Danish yet it would ve been especially hard or even impossible to deal with the rental board or the small claims court all by myself They truly have lots of experience and will spot any technicalities and opportunities to help you and they do all the work from start to finish

As his name indicates he is actually a Renthero With his actions we achieved a settlement to lower our rent and get money back for more than a year s overcharged rent In addition his commission I think is fair especially for foreigners who wouldn t represent themselves and do not speak the language The whole process was fast and easy I guess it also depends and he was very helpful

RentHero recovered my entire deposit

After leaving my apartment as well as Denmark I received a bill from my former landlord listing roughly 31 000 kr worth of repairs exceeding my security deposit by 10 000 kr I contacted Alex at RentHero in the hope of at least not having to pay for the extra costs To my complete astonishment Alex actually managed to retrieve my whole deposit get them to drop the 31 000 kr bill and pay me back half a month s worth of rent The whole process took less than 3 weeks Alex is quick to respond professional and evidently knows what he s doing I can only give him and RentHero my full recommendation as well as a big thank you
