I contacted Rent Hero to help us get back a fair amount of the rental deposit since it had been retained almost in full by Heimstaden after the move-out renovation works We were charged for items already damaged or not under the tenants responsibility Renthero agreed to proceed with the case stating that we could win the case Alex kept us updated in a timely manner throughout the case It turned out that Heimstaden as one could have easily anticipated did not agree to return the amount argued by RentHero and instead allowed a much lower sum RentHero came up with a new condition only at this point asking to be paid upfront to take the case to the Rent board I believe what happened with Heimstaden could have been easily anticipated and that the terms of the agreement should have been clear since the start Nevertheless we managed to get a ver tiny amount on top of what Heimstaden had already agreed to return
