Poor functioning
Had my Resound earring aids for about 3 years and struggled with them still not hearing conversations poor speech clarity Recently stopped working and had both receivers replaced but still not working was informed by an independent audiologist that the hearing aids not very powerful so she re programmed them unfortunately they are not happy being more powerful and have a tendency to switch themselves off periodically and if they hear a noise they don t like recently in dentist they start to squeal I m not in a financial position to replace them so I m stuck with them but I would not buy resound hearing aids again

Their customer service is awful
Their customer service is awful After spending a whopping 3000 plus for the things the batteries started going bad after about three years 350 plus just to have them replaced Then after losing one aid they wanted to charge me for the one I lost I have no use for one hearing aid and I m not buying another I told the audiologist for them to just keep the damn thing

I purchased a pair of these hearing aids 1 1 2 years ago My rep does not return calls The company always refers me to that rep that has a bad business model The hearing aids have been sent back for repairs at least 10 times The issue of not working has never been handled I don t know if the company can t repair the hearing aids or the rep never sends them back to the company BAD SERVICE FROM BOTH REP AND COMPANY STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES I gave this company a one star only because you can t give it a zero star

App Is Incompatible With Most Android Phones
I got new hearing aids to help with my tinnitus The audiologist installed the ReSound app on my Android phone Everything seemed to be working but after a few months the app crashed During a follow-up appointment with another audiologist I was told that the app is incompatible with my TCL Android We couldn t get the app to work again This is the ONLY app I have used that has proven incompatible with my phone Upon doing some research on the ReSound website I discovered that the ReSound app is compatible with only three Samsung Android phones making it virtually useless for Android phone users who purchase the VERY expensive ReSound hearing aids

App doesn t work on most phones
I need the app to be able to make adjustment on the volumn level on one ear only What a surprise to learn I will have to buy an expensive new phone to use it My motorola phone isn t that old Company needs to make the app work on more than just a few expensive phones Hearing aids are less useful without the app I have taken to just wearing one of the aids and am not getting the full benefit of using them
