Customers should be aware that the cost of a replacement battery for an electric Ribble is about 750 My SLe road bike s battery failed after 2 years and 2 months i e just 2 months outside the warranty period and Ribble were not prepared to offer any form of goodwill payment I cannot comprehend why the Mahle batteries are so expensive I ve asked Ribble to include such information on their website and in the stores but I m holding my breath on that point Still not received any reply to my points above yet 27 2 24

The staff were excellent but the website was not working Why have a showroom if the staff can only do anything through a website that does not work

Very slow order despatch partial order received 10 days after are placing After 12 days received email stating they couldn t fulfil rest of my order Now waiting even longer for a refund that they are saying they re working hard to do meanwhile they re managed to send me two reminders to review them before receiving anything It s been a very poor customer experience all round so won t be using them again

Ordered a bike given an estimated date of delivery That date came with no further contact and no sign of a bike Then the following day got a phone saying the bike couldn t fit on the delivery van as it was full so we arranged a new delivery date Arranged to work from home for delivery That day came and still no sign of the bike or any contact as to why no delivery And nothing the following day Went to the nearest showroom to try and found out where the bike is Was told to to expect a call updating me where the bike has been and it would be sent to the showroom for collection as per my request Had no call telling what was happening with the bike Then a got an email at 6pm saying the bike was being delivered to my home address the following morning too late in the day to make arrangements with work to be at home Should have gone to a rival Won t be buying Ribble again The actual bike is great but every time I ride it I m reminded of the shambles I had to endure to get it

Prices are too high and no value for money anymore better to go for a more prominent bike brand which is supported by your local bike shop

I bought click-on race guards The guards are great but need washers behind the stay fixings to be securely fixed No problem for me but they should be included within the accessories pack I advised Ribble but no comment or response

The process has been painful with three different people giving three different pieces of advice none of which was joined up I also thought I had a bike reserved which wasn t and lost the deal on the bike I wanted I have had to have a lower spec bike on the C2W scheme if it was a private purchase I probably would have been put off

I purchased a new Gravel bike from the Birmingham Mailbox outlet just before Christmas as this was a present for myself I didn t build it until after the New year I ve now ridden the bike around 5 or 6 times and then the chain broke Luckily I was cycling with a neighbour and he scrapped me up off the road and repaired my chain so I could at least get home Yesterday I managed to talk to Ribble Customer Services then told me chains are considered a consumable There was nothing they could do this is company policy Be warned everyone you can really hurt yourself and Ribble will not take any responsibility

Product is perfectly fine and as described however the customer service leaves much to be desired Slow to update order status slow to despatch goods

Following placing the order and being given a date for dispatch the bike did not get to the showroom When I asked why I was told there was inspection and shipping Having paid 49 for shipping cost either to my house or the showroom I was astounded when the showroom got a delivery twice a month Delivery to my house would have been 3 days Not good service when this is not explained at the time of ordering I am UK
