I wasn t able to change the payment method for my order after creating it with the wrong payment method I had to cancel the order and create a new one It took 24h for the cancellation to be confirmed When creating the new order the price had went up and I ended up paying more for the product which is excellent by the way

5 delivery charge on a derailleur hanger That s a bit toppy

The selection and purchasing process was straightforward and went well and the bike arrived earlier than expected Unfortunately the only notification I received about this was from the courier with no dispatch notice from Ribble as promised The bike arrived with a puncture in the front tyre and no clear step by step instructions for assembly just a variety of specific component leaflets Instructions for connecting the 2 wires to the Di2 battery would have been helpful especially as the dummy bung was in the wrong place Once set up correctly the bike looks impressive rides well and meets all my expectations

I ordered an AL CGR in July 2022 and was due to be delivered in September then THREE days before it was due to be delivered I got a message saying that it had been delayed by 10 weeks quoting paint job issues - delays like this should not be happening so late in the game it s unacceptable Once the bike eventually turned up I had various issues that were sorted quickish by Ribble and myself The bike is absolutely solid it got me 350 miles across Norway and did not miss a single beat I cannot fault it except the paint job It s awful the paint has already begun to chip off and I can see places where it s bubbling I have an aluminium road bike from specialized which is 6 years old and does not have any of these problems Ribble really need to sort their paint jobs and supply chain issues

Firstly I should say that I am happy with the bike no issues with that really so the bike would be a 4 5 However although Ribble seem to be very good at managing pre-sales I found the ordering and fulfilment process to be pretty poor At no point was my order status ever accurate showing as shipped almost immediately When I queried this via web chat I was told that they had no record of my order and I had to provide screenshots of my Ribble account to prove that I actually had one After investigation which took around a week I was told that it was fine and the order was in place However I continued to be unable to track my order as it remained at status shipped so the delivery schedule remained a mystery About 8 weeks later I received a text from the courier informing me that the bike would be delivered that same day The courier provided a link for me to track the delivery or arrange an alternative delivery and unsurprisingly the link didn t work So overall it was a pretty shambolic experience but the bike was fine

I ordered a hub for a wheel build the ordering process was smooth and the item was dispatched quickly The hub was not well packaged though - it had been wrapped in a makeshift open-ended tube a sheet of cardboard and placed inside a delivery bag When I received it the hub was loose in the tube and was sticking out of a hole it had made through the bag I was concerned the hub had been damaged in transit and though a cursory inspection suggests the hub is ok I won t know for sure until I ve built the wheel up However I m writing this now since I ve been asked to review my experience

It took 6 days to receive discs from placing order When you pay 5 00 for delivery as standard for Ribble which is towards the higher end for such small items I expect better Packaging was bulky and uneven and not streamlined which is normally the case when posting thin round small discs which I have received like this from other retailers

Smashing website and buying process The bike arrived today as promised will open the specialist packaging tomorrow You dropped 2 stars after I sent an enquiry form in with a Took days to get back to me and response seemed negative You could have offered me a video demonstration of the product I wanted to see rather than sorry can t really help

Struggling to confirm an order Compared to other brands service is a little slower Staff are friendly enough but don t seem to follow up on actions Still have no idea on my order status but will share an update shortly on progress Frustrating is my overall feeling so far

Had to create a new account as the website kept adding an extra delivery fee and despite clearing the basket the extra kept coming back on the total order Now I ve ordered I can see the bike I ve ordered but it doesn t detail how Ive customised it Assume that will show when order moved from processing but as I ve spent a large amount of money I ll call them to check in the morning
