Disaster of a company avoid at all costs

I have worked with Riihos for the past 6 months They got in touch with us offering decently priced services As a younger company it was just what we needed The first things on our agenda were our annual reports - we agreed on a price and then things got quiet - 4 weeks later we got an invoice for 4x the agreed upon amount This wasn t an isolated case as we continued to work together we recieved huge invoices for basic bookkeeping despite several phone calls about said issues I understand that not all customers are the same and some may require more manual work than others but this is where the real issue with Riihos comes into play communication or rather lack there of Not once did we get a phone call either asking for permission to do things or asking us questions in order to avoid aforementioned big invoices We had to call them each month asking why they added surchage x and surcharge y to our invoices The quality of work in terms of bookkeeping is questionable and the managers refuse to take phone calls delegating these tasks to receptionists who of course do not about our situation We will discuss this with our team and call you back was the answer we got 90 of the time If you are looking to spend 300-500 euros a month and recieve dismal customer service with lack of communcation you have come to the right place Otherwise I would highly recommend to look elsewhere However I will leave this with a positive note they have excellent salespeople now they just need the staff and skill to back the sales funnel hence the donation of my 1 star I hate to leave negative comments energy but this time I have to warn other entrepreuneurs UPDATE This company has obviously not changed its ways almost a year later when I look at the newer reviews What a shame I wouldn t touch this dumpster fire of a company with a barge pole Warning to all potential customers

This has been one of the most costly mistakes I have made since starting my business They start out with promising economical prices and deliver on those in the first few months to get you locked in Then all of a sudden you will start getting hit with invoices that exceed the agreed amount and the averages that you become used to even though nothing has really changed in your operation One of my invoices was over 2000 EUROS for work that they should have done over a year before In this case it seemed like they strategically waited to do the work after they had increased their prices They take no accountability for mistakes made on their side It is impossible to get them on the phone They respond to emails late unless it has to do with them getting paid I also noticed that these invoices increased based on the performance of my business Their invoices are not clear as well One term they used is clarifying documents From my questions I am charged extra every time they send an email to ask about one specific receipt There is so much more I could write about my experience with them which is partly due to my inexperience as a new business owner They saw that and I believe they took full advantage I must thank them for the lessons learned here I have now moved on to a new service that is hopefully better

1 star is too much for those scammers they have such a miserable maze payment method which was designed for scamming and there sales department workers lie at the beginning about cheap prices then they send a huge amounts invoices for a very easy work and finally the people in customer services are main scammers in this firm because they keep answering with no sense things and promising to ask the experts and all that to gain time and send more invoices So if anybody start to doubt i recommend to beak the contract immediately Note there are no pages for these scammers on any social media or google maps so they can avoid the bad reviews

Avoid Riihos by all means About 300 euros for 15 receipts and one payroll 3 months for contract cancellation In the sales process you expect to pay 60 to 80 for such small activity With the time they increase the hours in everything They send a question to you 50 They find hundred of excuses to increase the invoice up to the sky

Absolutely appalling Avoid

This business is absolutely appalling in so many ways As others have mentioned Riihos regularly adds extortionate unauthorized costs onto their monthly invoices with no communication and no permission to act The costs quoted on their site are deceptive as you will quite frankly never pay that amount It is a major red flag that this company has removed all of its company pages from social media such as Facebook and Linkedin and has also removed its Google Reviews The icing on the cake is that this company has now invoiced me for 160 two months AFTER the final termination date of our Agreement and in the words of the company we expect full payment Pitiful Avoid

I am a foreign business owner in Finland and unfortunately I began using Riihos as my accounting firm They took advantage of my limited knowledge about the country and its system Although we agreed on a fixed price they continued to send me overcharged bills until I terminated my contract I received minimal service but paid them over 1 000 euros for 3-4 months My business generates approximately 40-50 invoices per month I believe they are misleading and scamming clients

Our experience with Riihos has been highly disappointing They made numerous mistakes in tax reporting and charged additional fees for tasks that should have been included in their bookkeeping services After terminating our service contract in May 2023 we received a vague payment demand without any details or justification Their lack of professionalism is further highlighted by the absence of a proper office location they seem to operate from an undisclosed site This raises serious concerns about their credibility To protect others from similar experiences I have reported them to the relevant authorities PRH and KKV It s disheartening that such practices still persist in Finland I strongly advise steering clear of Riihos
