Ordering the fuel and the Operator I

Ordering the fuel and the Operator I spoke to was not a pleasant experience or one that I expected after having oil delivered to the property for nearly 30 years - loyalty doesn t pay and Iam seriously thinking of changing providers due to this However in the spirit of fairness and honesty I can say that tracking the delivery and the delivery itself were great - I was out when it arrived unexpectedly but that wasn t a problem or a hold up so thank you for that

First time customer

As a first time customer I was informed that I had to be present for delivery at my house Despite being in my fuel was delivered with the customer receipt having been counter-signed by the delivery driver and placed in my letterbox All without me knowing I complained and received a phone call and apology from your offices

Delivery

For this first time my delivery was late However I have now been registered as a priority as I am over 80 sand live on my own Also have health conditions so this should not happen again Overall I am very happy with the service I get

Spoke to a lot of people in connection with the last transaction and Keiver in particular was very helpful and friendly however due to an error on your behalf I was charged too much and with the refund taking an extra long time to be processed due to vaious reasons I was subjected to bank charges All good now though

The oil price quoted by phone was higher than the Certas price quoted online It seems impossible to open an online account with Scottish fuels without using WhatsApp or Instagram neither of which I choose to use The quoted price was reduced after I queried it Phone staff are helpful and cheerful delivery was quick and trouble-free

A few days later than booked date

A few days later than booked date despite a regular 2 week booking interval The AGA cooker had to be turned off and cleaned and restarted Main water boiler for heating and washing had to be switched off

I dislike the 2 week wait for my delivery my oil was nearly empty by the time the delivery arrived I understand that things have changed at the company Oil would cone within a couple of days previously but a two week delay is bad customer service A week would be OK Please take note Scottish Fuels Certas

Again our tank was not filled to capacity the driver said that the tank would overflow but there was still space for additional fuel

delayed delivery

You sent me a email and a text on the day my delivery was due saying that it would be delayed The online tracker continued to show the original date for delivery The text gave a telephone number for the local operator who I called a few days later and again after another few days but nobody could tell me when I could expect to receive my heating oil I fully accept that occasionally things go wrong but I expected a company like Certus would keep customers informed on the progress of their delivery I eventually received the oil 13 days after the original date

A bit more common sense please When delivery went over by 66p this should have been written off as extra paperwork and time just wrong on all levels Yes it was done on my suggestion but you should have dealt with this proactively
