We did not know the engineer was attending and there is no paper to confirm what has been completed

Keep making appointments and keep failing to turn up Alarm not not working at all What a poor service AND I PAYING FOR THIS

Alarm issues

There was a problem with our alarm - it transpired the battery in the sounder had come to the end of its life and was sounding off it look two visits and a remote dial in to get this silenced as the engineer that attended forgot to check something had been switched off meaning the alarm went off again the same day whilst customers were on the premises It then took him a while to come back and sort what he had forgotten to do It was then 10 days until Secom came back and changed said battery - why when knowing what the problem was an engineer with one on board could not be sent out I do not understand Nor do I understand that if it is known on average what the life of these batteries is they are not changed during a scheduled maintenance visit to avoid the above scenario Then to top it all we receive an invoice for call out and labour when these really should be included in the maintenance costs Not impressed at all

After advising engineer of historical mistakes when servicing the system the alarm wouldn t set and I had to stay behind for 5 hours on a Friday night and it was my wedding anniversary

Received 4 text messages with different

Received 4 text messages with different dates for booking and no one turned up engineer attended 2 days after last booked appointment with no notice To be fair once on site engineer was good but your booking system is shocking

Probably proveide a good service and maybe the driver at WV7 3 was on a shout Which is why he almost ran down 2 dog walkers in Green Lane Albrighton

Our alarm has sounded 3 times in the

Our alarm has sounded 3 times in the last 3 weeks each time due to a fault with the alarm 3am 11am and midnight How many times can you cry wolf before the police no longer show Secom do not appear to want to deal with the issue with any kind of urgency Attend the property without warning or booking and charge each time they attend albeit never fix the alarm

Appointments not kept to and no phone call

Waited in all day for an engineer who did not show up as per appointment He had new parts that need to be installed for our system to function Didn t even to bother to phone Complained this morning and was promised call back and still nothing My system has not been working properly for some time and I feel like Secoms cutsomer service is extremely shoddy Soon time to switch An update We called to complain the next day and after an apology we were promised a visit by a technician first thing on Monday Once again we waited in and yet again no one showed up Totally unacceptable

Failure to adhere to SLA

After a terrible experience in September 2023 whereby Secom lied about appointment times planners cancelling job and opening new one to meet KPIs and took c 6 visits to effectively replace a power unit we sadly needed to draw upon our comprehensive service agreement again in December 2023 Secom state in the agreement an SLA of attending the next working day which should have been 18th December Rang on the 18th December to follow up and was told that the engineer was booked for 2nd January 2023 a default of 7 working days Asked for this to be amended and was told the planner would address Called on 19th December and no change Totally unacceptable to charge annually in advance for a maintenance contract and completely fail in its deliverance Would strongly urge anyone not to engage with Secom unless you are happy to pay for a business critical support service you do not receive and they have zero interest in providing
