Refund

Firstly it would be nice to chat to a human online if you have a question not suggestions that leads you nowhere I have requested a refund many times during the last 2 weeks without any success at all Same message comes up saying firstly I am not logged in and click on chat When I follow the inscructions a message appears stating that they can t deal with it right now I have requested at random times I appreciate that they might be busy but how long must I wait They have a complaints form but it appears there are only certain things you can complain about If I telephone them then its extra cost for me again

Mixed reviews with them

Mixed reviews with them been with them over a year moved house with a huge credit balance over 300 have to wait ages for it Still no final bill or account setup If buying a new house caution dont change to them until complete as a full further credit check is done and could damage your mortgage chances

There is one niggle that Shell Energy

There is one niggle that Shell Energy needs to sort and that is their app It is always crashing and never works That s the three star However the young man who was dealing with my problems in opening up my account Mo was brilliant His customer service and friendliness is excellent and he constantly kept in touch to make sure things ran smoothly he definitely gets the 5 stars well done Mo

Over the last year I have called 3 4

Over the last year I have called 3 4 times about being overcharged Each time the sales person said they would rectify it and my direct debit would change to reflect the price This didn t happen The last time I called a really helpful person called Naveed answered and luckily he actually addressed the issue and applied a refund to my account I would have left shell if it didn t happen this time around so they will get one more year out of me contract

While my issue is yet to be resolved I wanted to leave a note regarding my interaction with the Shell advisors My complaint was handled very professionally by Lyle F he demonstrated a high level of customer service I look forward to Shell resolving my repeated incorrect charges to avoid legal resolution

Retain Evidence of Promised Discounts

I subscribed to Shell Broadband after receiving a tempting offer by email directly from Shell The promised discount did not appear in my contract or first statement When I rang for clarification I was told that they could not confirm any discount as I had signed-up via a third party It was then necessary for me to send the original email - which I had fortunately retained - to prove that this was not the case and to receive the confirmation that I sought The only positive was that this confirmation did come quickly but without explanation or apology UPDATE The reply says it all - no explanation no apology nor any commitment to fix what is clearly a broken process

I am a disabled pensioner with anxiety

I am a disabled pensioner with anxiety issues The current problems with inflation and in particular the cost of household energy are causing considerable stress and foreboding about what the winter weather will bring My issue regarding the increase in the monthly direct debit payments I complained about has been reviewed and my explanation was accepted and resolved the problem Thank you

An exceptional petrol station

An exceptional petrol station staffed by people who are not only friendly but welcoming The only improvement needed would be the addition of a free air service The station has a good number of pumps and a wide range of food snacks and drinks It should be noted however that the petrol prices are not the most wallet-friendly

terrible website queues

Good company fair prices The WORST website If you want to log into your account as a paying customer you have to wait up to 10 minutes as you get put into a queue just to log in If you close your page or look on another page it resets the time you have to wait to log in I just want to view my bills Weird way to run a website

Long waiting time before you get through for the help you get

There was a bit of waiting until I got through the agent About 15 min This is the second time I try and the first time I had to wait even longer The agent was Melisa and she was very professional I know that the agents can t do much to help sometimes and I totally appreciate they can only follow the guidelines set by the company which most of the time does not allow them to sort problems But overall Melisa gave me some information and was very professional
