Disappointed - Feedback and Suggestion for Improved Service

I ve been a loyal customer for several years but I ve encountered recurring issues with the app resulting in the loss of my data Recently I attempted to log in and received a notification stating there was no active plan I faced a similar situation last year and despite reaching out to customer service the problem persisted Although I sought assistance from customer service again this year I was informed they couldn t investigate an inactive plan This recurring issue has led to frustration prompting me to explore alternative healthcare options Consequently I ve decided to switch to Bupa for what I hope will be a more reliable and efficient service I believe there might be a systemic problem with the digital system and it would be beneficial for Simple Health to consider upgrading it Enhancing the digital infrastructure could lead to a smoother experience for customers like me

Communication niggles

I have been a member for over 20 years and have found the systems easy to use Until today Rang this morning and instead of a helpful Customer Services rep I had to chat to a computer generated voice This did not answer my query Second complaint of the day lies with changing personal details for a second time I have tried to change my email address but the system continues to revert to the address I used to set up the account Disappointing service

Don t like the idea of going digital

Don t like the idea of going digital I m happy with paper claims as used for more than forty years You will lose a lot of business with customers who are unable or unwilling to use online options Whatever happened to customer focus and customer service A classic case of trying to be clever and getting all wrong

I have been a member for 35 years and

I have been a member for 35 years and always found the service great BUT feel they need to be more helpful with customer service Being open Mon- Friday for calls from 8 am - 6 pm needs to be extended previously customer services was with a human rather than automated and open from 8-8 M-F and 9-5 Sat Sun The limited opening times are hard to negotiate if one works the same hours Emails are fine but do consider an email and time taken to receive and respond is far more time consuming for your customers Please bring back person to person customer service to enable me to sort and resolve queries quickly

Deadly trying to get through by phone

Deadly trying to get through by phone Unending music which after 20 minutes hanging about is enough to drive you to distraction As with all of these type of AI details every company has high high volumes of calls Tried to messaging by that didn t result in a call back or email

The survey was too long

Although I am Reasonably happy I do get annoyed when everything has to be done on line now I was asked to upload my Receipt to enable me to make a claim

getting expensive

Having suffered a severe stroke I was advised that physiotherapy was necessary to aid my recovery My physiotherapist is fully qualified and licensed to practice However his name is not on SH s prescribed list and therefore I do not qualify for rebate of costs This has caused me considerable stress in an already bad situation A ridiculous state of affairs I contacted Customer care as advised in the reply from Simply Health I have been told that my physio has to be registered with the HCPC Health Care Professions Council My physio is registered with a different professional body the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers BASRaT who are registered with the professional standards authority Simple Health appears not to recognise this body and I was informed by SH Customer Care that it is in the terms and conditions All in all no help at all and my position on claiming is unchanged My physio has been of great help and I am able to walk my arm remains paralysed My SH contract seems pointless
