DO NOT BUY SOG
Ordered two Pentagon Knives with engraving for my two kids for Christmas this year 2022 SOG website said Order before November 28th to ensure delivery before Christmas I placed my order on November 11th for two Pentagon knives one Black and the other Tan Both these products were available on their website at the time I placed my order After two week of not hearing from SOG or receiving my knives I called the customer service number Talked to a lady named Paula The first phone call with her I was under the impression that it was a productive phone call and she was going to get me an answer about my order After several email and phone calls later I was told that those Black and Tan color knives were out of stock I then had to change the color to what they had Wolf Grey Today is December 21st and I finally received an email with a tracking number to arrive maybe on December 23rd The amount of time spent on the phone and emailing back and forth with this company has been ridiculous This will be the last time I buy a SOG brand product or any product from the GSM company If I could rate lower than one star I would DO NOT BUY SOG

Customer service SUCKS
It is no wonder SOG can offer a lifetime warranty THEY DONT RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS I dont thinks any one reads the emails All I needed was a simple replacement cilp free of charge as per SOG website Now I know why they dont send any clips out apparently I have submitted 4 emails over the past year and a half and called numerous times NO REPLY and NO CLIP in the mail I will not be purchasing anymore SOG knives cause I d hate to see how they handle a replacement blade or something major if it takes this long for a simple clip I thing SOG has got to big to care about it s customer base OR they just dont give a crap I have received better service by the IRS Now that s pretty bad K Loyd Houston TX

I own a SOG powerassist multitool
I own a SOG powerassist multitool knife I was a gift 3 yrs ago Its in my fishing bag maybe used twice The locking mechanism on the straight blades broke it will not lock I called customer service who was of NO help Started telling me about the limited warranty etc and that SOG would consider this normal wear and tear I stressed that only only used it a couple of times They wouldn t help at all DO NOT buy SOG Buy Leatherman or Buck

DO NOT give this company your money
DO NOT give this company your money They do not offer a repair or parts service whatsoever I have a SOG Tac model that I bought online and have had for a few years and the internal spring broke The blade and handle still in near perfect condition I figured I would simply order a spring for it Wrong According to SOG I just have myself a nice 150 wall ornament now They told me they do not offer parts or repair service After many complaints through email the best they could do was offer me a measly 30 off my next purchase No thanks I will not give this company another cent Benchmade would have sent new springs no questions asked Lord knows there s a million of them sitting on the manufacturing line This company is not the same since it was bought out by another outfit

SOG customer service SUCKS
I sent a knife back for warranty repair The person I was talking to said I just have to send it back and they d take care of it We ll apparently a new company took over or something and when I contacted them about the status of my knife they told me of I didn t get a return authorization number that they don t have the knife I asked if they would just throw the package away without it they said yes when the person that told me to just send it in and I asked if I needed a number and they said NO So I wouldn t recommend buying SOG products if this is how customer service is now but that s up to you

I recently purchased a SOG SEAL XR
I recently purchased a SOG SEAL XR fixed knife from SOG The knife is excellent and it would hold up in a combat situation The sheath is another matter all together SOG s kydex sheath s are made in China If the sheath is inferior in quality to what it carries then it will fail under stress If SOG is going to advertise their knives are made in the United States then they should also convey their sheath s are made in a communist country a country that makes inferior products Your selling your knives to active duty personnel veterans etc For a 300 00 knife you would think everything would be of the highest quality Not a company saving a few dollars on a sheath because their cheaper to make in a communist country Those dollars your saving could lead up to the sheath failing when a veteran or police officer needs it the most The customer service for SOG is not great either I waited for a call back for 2 5 hours They have no problem with taking your money immediately but the return policy is time consuming and you have to pay to return their knive s and piece of s t sheath s I give SOG customer service and their products 0 stars Thomas Eddings Retired USMC Martial artist 45 years

Today just found out The warranty from sog is not lifetime you can check sog website and there say they have lifetime warranty lolThat s a totally joke I have some problem with a sog trident and powerpint Costumer service from this company is pretty bad don t care about Costumer service Was fan of this brand for years Now idkThis not good Costumer service I think I m going to stay with gerber Gerber Costumer service is top notch

The blade release jammed up inside and
The blade release jammed up inside and the blade would only shut halfway so because I forced it to shut and broke the back out a bit they told me it wouldn t be covered under warranty the inside malfunctioned I would think that would be a defective knife and they said no can t help you

I bought the fasthawk and within 1 month the handle busted I was communicating with a customer service rep and he told me that he was sending me a replacement handle and I was content Then 4 months later still no handle and now they won t answer the DAMN phone or return emails I will never buy another one of their products again
