Genuinely the worst company to work with Motorpoint use them for warranty but they make no effort to help repair your car Every time I call the person in charge to make a decision is never in and they fob me off by saying they ll call me back and never do It s been months of chasing and my car is still not repaired Really bad company would not recommend Stay away

So before they get chance to write back in this review saying we want to emphasise what you actually want to do is deal with customers properly Folks the best advice I can give you keep your money in your pocket because they will unlikely pay for anything I swear they have a whole department working avoiding claims It s not with paying any money ti then Good news for me my sister works for a large Northern Ireland law firm who have spoken to a King s Counsel today who are going to represent me for free but whatever you do in the meantime do not buy a warranty of these as in my humble opinion there are no more than scammers They have asked for information below all I have to do is wait for their post and it will all be contained in the summons

Absolute rubbishTook out extended warranty from Motorpoint and was told everything covered aside from usual wear and tear 9 months into warranty water jets are not working and Halfords state this is an internal problem with the water jets system Spectrum declined the repair as pipes hoses are not covered What a joke Don t waste your money with these scammers AMENDMENT UPDATE 31 1 25 - case has been reviewed and decision overturned to approve repair cost Invoice emailed as I repair completed by local garage and advised payment will be within 30 working days This was a nice call to receive and hopefully payment will be received Thank you

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR WARRANTY I purchased extended warranty from MoTorpoint for my car and these were the warranty provider I had a major fault with my car and the garage appointed by spectrum were unable to help at all so was advised to go straight to Vauxhall Spectrum refused point blank to deal with the garage and everything had to go through me They only contacted Vauxhall to question every single thing they did with the car Just looking for a way to reject the claim They never answer emails and I had to ring at least 8 times each day to find out what was going on My car has been with Vauxhall since November and the costs come to 1600 of repairs However spectrum have said they will only pay out 980 as I ve had the car more than 6 months This is not stated anywhere in their policy or MoTorpoints So I am now nearly 700 down due to their complete incompetence I will be complaining to MoTorpoint themselves for misspelling this warranty to me and I will be seeking compensation I will also take it to an ombudsman as the stress and worry Spectrum have put me through is disgusting I would advise anyone who is with Spectrum to cancel their policy as soon as you can before they make you look like a fool and you re out of pocket by a lot of money Never ever again will I be purchasing warranty with MoTorpoint

I have already arranged with you to take my car to the repair shop you recommended But you were not willing to pay the invoice I called and emailed several times until you finally paid an invoice for 150 Your service is terrible and it couldn t be worse

extremely honest review i wouldn t even give them 1 star this is by far the worst company i have ever had the experience of dealing with inconsistent agreeing things and backing out of them not honouring things agreed upon hidden charges not retuned calls dragged the warranty work out for months appointed a garage to me who were dreadful they placed an engine in incorrectly didn t put things back properly i had a serious accident refused to deal with the garage made me do it their closest approved garage to me was 60 mile away rude staff totally unhelpful if you are looking for warranty this is not the smooth experience you want avoid at all costs

Purchased Car warranty via Cargiant They will find every reason under the sun to reject claim I had to go through complaints before even paying 1 3 of the amount I spent on repairs Will never use again

The garage witch has been choose by Spectrum was completly rubish I suposte to identify the problem not the mechanics Ridiculous Anyway i will not recommend to nobody as is not cover lost of things Before signing somebody make sure to read all the descriptions not what i done

My claim related to Kia warranty was confirmed on 3rd October 2024 Now 20th January 2025 I am still awaiting settlement of 178 06 Settlement promise was within 30 working days so they don t live up to their promises AMENDMENT I have just seen on my bank statement that relevant amount was paid in December just about 10 working weeks after my claim

They make you pay the costs then take forever to pay you back Been over 3 weeks now When you eventually get through to someone on the phone they just aren t interested They say it can take up to 30 days and then just put the phone down without letting you respond
