Appalling Company - Total Scam Artists

I purchased gadget insurance with this company prior to travelling to Portugal I then lost my mobile phone during our holiday I am still trying to get them to process my claim despite already providing the following Proof of identity provided 3 times Proof of addressProof of purchase ownershipProof of UsageProof of BlacklistingProof of Loss via Report my Loss com Proof of TravelPhoto of original box showing IMEI and Serial NumberAvoid these con artists like the plague

NCL PU 00076453 WIL-2 - terrible experience

It has been nearly 2 months since i claimed and they are still asking for documents I cannot provide I bought a sim free google phone which i then put a business SIM card in it The SIM Card provider know nothing in regards to the IMEI of the device as it wasn t purchased through them they have no control over blacklisting the device The phone was stolen the device has been blacklisted by google I have sent proof of this but taurus are requesting that the SIM Card provider blacklist the device I have sent proof showing that the SIM Card provider can t do this as the phone purchase wasn t handled through them The SIM card provider said the phone manufacturer will be able to do this which they have Can never speak to a person who can send anything other than the usual copy and paste replies

Would not recommend this company

Would not recommend this company Everytime i have called i have been told something that contradicts the other person And been told that the other person was wrong I am one week into my claim they have my phone and i dont even know what is happening next

have already submitted many proofs which they did not mentioned in terms and conditions still they are asking proofs in new ways Already its completed 2months but they are not approving my claim they are just collecting monthly Many students are suffering by taking this insurance plss don t ever try to take this insurance

Just had a terrible experience trying

Just had a terrible experience trying to update my policy as my gadgets have reduced in value Why should I pay more when if the worst happens I will only get the current market value Was on he phone waiting for 40 mins for someone to answer which got the alarm bells ringing When I did get through to someone I was told they dont have the ability to change the gadgets or their value despite it being on the email they sent to me When I raised this I was told to ignore such emails as they are generically sent out and actually they don t really mean anything Hmmm I think that speaks volumes

Horrible experience

Horrible experience I filed claim for my AirPods Pro which I lost in gym they mention on website that they aim to settle claim within 2 days and today it s been more then two weeks still waiting they again and again asking for documents even I provided everythingReally terrible experience won t recommend to anyone stay away from this company

Terrible

Terrible Sent my phone in to be repaired paid for back in December 2023 received the phone on 3rd Jan 2024 but acted like they didn t until 2 weeks later Still no response about my phone or what s going on It s disgusting Down 150 and a brand new phone thank you

Terrible run away

Terrible It s been over a month now and I m still waiting for my lost camera to be reimbursed Nothing happens unless you call you them and then whoever answers will just tell you to wait 2-3 working days and then when you call again someone else will say the same Can t believe how this is I ve got a camera business to run My claim was even accepted last week and I still no acknowledgement or indication that I ll receive my settlement anytime soon

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service Had a phone stolen on holiday and 3 months later they are still asking for more documents so far required a copy of the Police Report proof of id the original invoice separate proof of purchase proof of usage proof of blacklisting proof of lost mode a photo of the original box an iCloud screenshot even though its been deleted from the iCloud after theft and are now claiming that all the IMEI details dont match up even though they do The sad thing is that the Insurance policy was taken out with Holiday Extras who then had Davies group underwrite it and they subbed out the gadget insurance that we paid extra for to Taurus Needless to say we will make very sure next time that Taurus name is no where on our holiday insurance contract
