Not much communication but good repair

It took a week for me to get my phone back which was a replacement anyway so I feel this could have been much shorter You also get no correspondence until the phone is finished and being sent back to you It was packaged well though when it was returned and was with dpd so a time slot was given

Have dealt with Taurus insurance before and they have been great I hope if I have to use my insurance it will be the same level of service

Fantastic service

Fantastic service Just used it for the first time The only reason I am giving a 4 star is due to lack of communication while my phone was in their care We didn t have an email Not to say it had arrived to be fixed The only time we got anything was when we got it from DPD We weren t even sure it was that as it wasn t clear However we did get a fast service and was ultimately happy

I had a better than expected experience

I had a better than expected experience with Taurus insurance Claims I had my AirPods Pro stolen while I was abroad in the USA I filed the police report and made a claim with taurus right away The incident happened in mid August and was resolved completely about late September when I received the insurance money I think the service was as good as can be considering the high volume of claims that come in in the summer from all the holidays that people typically take in the season They were slow but responsive on email but I expected this but were kind and professional and explained things well when I needed and their phone service was good as well The payment came when they said it would within 5 days from the confirmation I don t have another insurance service to compare with but I would recommend this company for travel insurance especially with the gadget cover

Efficient service

Having always used EE for insurance I was not sure what sort of experience we would have with Taurus Insurance To make a claim it is so easy to do this online We then went to the Samsung Store to have it repaired The only downside was it took 3 days to get back but that was due to COVID and also nothing to do with Taurus I uploaded all the documents required however there was a delay in payment as the person did not see the two pages of a document which delayed the payment Everyone I phoned or chatted to online was very helpful and efficient

A solid company and a great CS team

Prior to my trip to South Africa I took out a pretty pricey policy with Taurus with a gadget cover of 500 I recently put in a gadget claim after being involved in a massive train smash up outside Johannesburg and lost a lot of my personal belongings in the rubble Still not retrieved to date I explained this to Taurus and the customer services team after a delay gave good guidance on what I needed to do Yes a lengthy process and a lot of documentation required but given the number of false claims across the board that s now understood Taurus covered my loss and in the latter stages of the process provided an excellent customer service Direct note to CS team Complaints Manager thanks for taking time to speak with me directly and handling my initial frustration exceptionally well Cheers guys

Updated Satisfied Provided tons of documents for everything they could ask for and now it s all quiet

NCL SR 00078448 RAF-2My laptop was robbed during my trip abroad I filed the claim on 29 December 2022 and provided tons of documents and information asked including police crime report Flight tickets proof of purchase selfie with ID residence proof proof of address laptop old pic metadata of the pic that showed it was taken in 2022 and even more than it should be required Now that they have gone silent and no emails afterwards while they aim to settle the claim within 2 days but there is even no answer since more than 2 days I m not surprised to see all these reviews here It seemed like they wanted me to give up but I provided all the documentation and information they asked for but still no positive signal I will update my review if it turns out to be a positive experience Update I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 star because I became too sceptical after reading negative reviews However with only one day delay in response my claim was accepted the next morning and with the settlement option that I am satisfied with Overall the experience has proved positive and I will also update when I will hopefully receive the settlement payment within this week
