I am surely not satisfied

I am surely not satisfied Thoman does not quality control their guitars before selling them I drove 12 hours to their store To get a guitar with a big ass mark on the fretboard If had it for months but I hate sending things back I surely deserve a partial refund Since the value of the guitar is less bc of the fretboard error

Beautiful guitar horrible manufacturing and shipping

I received a guitar which looked absolutely beautiful and I was very excited However upon a quick inspection I noticed a break in the pickup ring which noted the beginning of my really rough experience dealing with Thomann Customer service was quick to help initially but then sent me the wrong parts to New York twice Causing a 2 month delay to even get the guitar setup Upon bringing the guitar to my luthier he informed me the pickup ring was still incorrect and he bought the correct ones from guitar center for me Later he mentioned the sharp frets which I noticed immediately when I bought it poor wood grain positioning a double pieced neck and misaligned neck bridge The guitar is gorgeous and the Thomann team tries to help but for the overall condition and manufacturing of the guitar I d have to give 2 stars which I feel is more than generous Will buy guitars in store in the future so a similar issue doesn t occur

Been a customer for years but this time

Been a customer for years but this time things aren t up to the standards I have come to expect My order was dispatched on the 16th May it s now the 30th and still the order hasn t passed customs I made enquiries about why my order is taking so long without any tracking updates since dispatch The first response was a generic reply that told me nothing new the second informed me that shipments in general were being held up at customs Today I ve received an email from Thomann to say that my specific order has been held up by a random customs check I understand that s customs delays are outside the control of Thomann and DHL but I would appreciate better communication when spending what is to me large sums of money on goods

Worse and worse with every order

When everything goes well Thomann is the best place to shop They have good prices and their support is relatively responsive But everything going well doesn t really happen anymore Their delivery estimates are consistently inaccurate Your order is certain to arrive at least a day later than specified Doesn t matter if you ordered express delivery Non-express deliveries don t seem to even ship on the next business day anymore Their review ordering is skewed and unreliable You will notice that e g for their Harley Benton products - top reviews are almost always positive and glowing If you check the dates these are mostly reviews from 2018-2021 If you look at reviews from this year these are not as positive at all and yet you would have to dig deep to even find these Can t say for all the gear but guitars are certainly not inspected before shipping Some gear I received wasn t fit to be sold Finally if you want to return your purchase you will have to brace yourself The process will take so long that if you requested a replacement the product might actually run out before Thomann acknowledge receiving your return It s a long and frustrating experience that will require a back and forth with Thomann Once they confirm and inspect the items the money is returned quite quickly though

I placed an order with Thomann for a Squire Jazzmaster and on receipt gave it the usual checks and to my disbelief the neck plate was put on askew I messaged Thomann and was offered a 20 store credit I did say I could fix the problem for 69 but they would not accept that As it was bought as a present and my Grandson has seen it and loves it warts and all I will not pursue the matter further and accept there meagre offer This is my reply to them - Dear sir I will accept the 20 credit I really have no option as if I were to order another and obviously Thomann do not inspect what they are selling to there customers I might get something far worse and as it s a gift for my Grandson I m not taking the chance But I will as always be giving an honest review on Trustpilot Thanks P S The response is obviously a standard reply

False advertising

I ordered the equipment from you on Thursday around 15 00 because of your advertisement delivery within 24 hours After payment it said that delivery is Friday or Saturday Today is Monday and you sent me an email that the equipment just left your warehouse Your warehouse is 2 hours away from my address You could have asked me to come and get my equipment better than false advertising hoping and waiting

Customer service is really lacking

Customer service is really lacking Nice people but this company is not for professionals Bought a digital mixer and the wlan is intermittent I need the mixer for rehearsals and a show which is right around the return date Customer service could not find a way around me sending the mixerBack waiting for their techs to find the problem and send it back I paid for the right mixer to come at the right time It is defective and i ant give it up without another Im sending everything back and vuying from Music Store in Cologne Goodbye Thomann

Good prices but very bad planning

Keeping things short I ordered a new guitar for my son at the end of November so I won t need to worry about pre-Christmas problems Guitar was delivered after 1 5 week - product I got was definitely used one - I send them pictures wrote about every fishy detail I found Two days after they recoginized it as valid complaint so I send it back with exchange to new piece as resolution It took another 1 5 week to before it returned and was verified - in the meantime Thomann sold out all pieces of this exact model without keeping one for my future complaint nor assuring they will got new pieces They told me to wait so they can ask manufactures if they will got some new pieces in near future gues what they won t It was few days before christmas at that time In the end they didn t sent me guitar as promised they didn t offer another guitar in similar price range discount for next shopping like many stores do I m giving 2 stars instead 1 because they returned money really quick

Awful customer service

I recently purchased a marimba from Thomann I had no problem with delivery but a terrible experience with customer service There was an issue with the sound on one of the bars and customer service first denied there was an issue then claimed that it was normal for it to sound bad and that I should have bought a more expensive instrument For reference this was a 1400 instrument by Adams a respectable manufacturer In correspondence they were rude as if I was annoying them by asking for help I had also asked for a recommendation of a gig bag and the email I received was literally I have nothing to recommend In both cases I was able to reach out to Adams directly who were very helpful and solved all my queries

I am in dispute with Thomann Music

I am in dispute with Thomann Music I bought an item in good faith but it did not work upon arrival I contacted Customer Services and followed their return policy I contacted them 5 days later and they said that the item had been reached their logistics partner in the UK and i should wait I waited another 14 days and then after asking twice for a response They said that the parcel was lost and being investigated and should wait for some time Totally unacceptable I am awaiting their response
