Disappointed and let down
Disappointed and let downAround 4 weeks ago and before lockdown I noticed that the door latch on my unit was not fully secure and there was only one very loose pivot holding it together I immediately notified the manager who came and looked at the defective door latch We discussed my concerns at having most of my home contents in the unit and I left believing that this issue would be rectified Around two weeks later and whilst staff were still on site returned to Titan and discovered that nothing at all had been done and having opened the door to gain access had made the latch even more unstable Again i reported this and the lady from the reception area came to view the problem I explained that this had been discussed and viewed directly with the store manager a couple of weeks before and stressed both the importance of fixing it and my disappointment I was told that it would be rectified and made safe yesterday morning i returned to my unit and discovered that again NOTHING at all had been done the remaining and very loose rivot fell to the floor and the door just swung open I called the Titan and spoke to their central call handler who noted my concerns and reassured me that someone would call me back no one did so I gain called later in the afternoon and was told the same information no one has called me back All this time my unit door is being held closed only by a piece of sponge under the door with people walking around the building Due to the lack of customer service I have now had to return to the unit to secure the door latch myself I feel extremely disappointed at the total lack of response from the Titan management and staff in fact this issue has not been managed in any sense at all but true to form the regular monthly invoice for secure storage arrived in my inbox this morning This return journey to fix the problem should never have had to take place all for the sake of a two minute job to replace a pop-pivot I feel so disappointed with their lack of customer service that I rescind my original excellent feedback that I left on 21st January this year I mean was it really to much of a task to arrange for the latch to fixed with a simple pivot before the problem escalated

Impossible to park to load and unload
The storage unit is great - extremely clean and efficient I have rated this one star as parking is almost impossible Having had other units in various places this one is a nightmare It seems the car park is rented out to other businesses as the cars don t seem to move We have tried various days at various times I doubt I will keep the unit after the 8 weeks It s a shame because great location and lovely unit

Access and staff unreliable - check your statement
Switched to these cowboys a few years ago because access to units was easier than where I had been All downhill since then Parking is a nightmare now during the day because of the amount of space permanently taken by pure water business and all the workers in the units that have been rented out not mentioning the old caravan and other vehicles permanently parked there Then you add in the frequency the lift doesn t work only one small one and the occasional times when the entrance is broken Would also suggest you make sure you check your invoice each month as incorrect charges might have been added

Dishonest TradingWhen you initially move in Titan staff promise you the world saying that you can reduce storage space at any time giving them just 2 weeks notice but when the time comes it turns out the manager has no smaller units available for the foreseeable future and they end up offering you a slight reduction where the most you can save is maybe a tenner a month Yet when you get a friend to enquire later that day about much smaller unit storage spaces exactly like the one you discussed with the manager that day in person him looking you straight in the eye they have several units available with just the right dimensions too Company policy must be to stuff existing customers who are already on the hook - nice one Titan I m off

Staff at storage were unhelpful and only wanted to listen to what they were saying and not would not listen to what I was saying and made no attempt to apologise for their mistakes Which by the way cost us money and had to take time of work to sort out their mistakes I received a telephone cal today 28 09 22 from MrDan O Sullivan who again apologised for what happened I have to say if I had been dealing with him and Chris the manager I know this would have never happened We have come to an agreement which we are more than happy with Great service in the end and would recommend Titan Storage to anyone Thank you so such for resolving this

Terrible office staff the manager rude and unprofessional to deal with Actually took a card payment without my consent It was due on a Saturday couldn t get an answer Office was closed with shutter down During there advertised opening times Both ladies rude and unprofessional Dirty and toilets disgusting

Beware of hidden costs omitted when requesting a quote
I would like to share my experience and hope that I will get an explanation from the managing director of this company I went to Titan storage in Leamington Spa to get a quote I was told about the free deposit and the half price offer for the first two months No other costs were mentioned at this stage I paid the 10 deposit and arranged a date for our furniture to be stored The day we moved our stuff in I filled in the paperwork and was then hit with more charges there was an extra 80 to pay up front which I was assured would be refunded at the end then there was 20 50 for insurance which had not been mentioned before and then a 7 98 charge for the key Not previously mentioned You don t pay for a hotel room and then get charged extra for the key Furthermore they failed to refund the 10 deposit I had paid upfront Ironic as they made a point of it being a free deposit This amounts to dubious business practices - as it is basically misleading the customer - and is not acceptable It is unethical too as the extra charges are only mentioned when the customer is committed i e when their belongings are already on site
