Hours or days for customer service Chat

The software does not always match purchases to sells Probably can be fixed if I could get hold of customer service chat - I have waited hours and at times over 24 hours to get no help Got a flip answer that I had already done - when I responded - I got no further response Had to start again on the long wait hope that the next customer service person will actually look at my account Update it took 4 days of slooow chat but did eventually get the problem fixed There has got to be a better way to work with the customer

No Longer Reliable

Been using Token Tax for 4 years Wrong almost every year but usually not off more than 2K 2023 was way worse than usual There were so many transactions with errors that I had to pay for a different software to finish the job It was literally counting hundreds of buys as sells even though there was no cost basis Not worth 200

Not yet suitable for all international clients

A great service where it works TokenTax is selling their service while still immature and somewhat buggy - at least that is the case for international residents in my case South Africa Some of the rules used by the site include US-based conventions that are inapplicable for other jurisdictions and at the time of writing I could not change these Replies from the help desk have been slow at times but eventually their staff were helpful to try and resolve issues

The support staff was fantastic to work

The support staff was fantastic to work with and very helpful The process and their program had a few stumbles requiring some time to sort out but in the end I got a fantastically accurate tax report and will for sure be using them again next year I had 7000 taxable events over 20 platforms and protocols it was a complex scenario but they helped me through it every step of the way

I have used TokenTax for 2 years now

I have used TokenTax for 2 years now and not only has it helped make things easy for me and my CPA as a relative tax and crypto novice I have learned a LOT that will help my for years to come Software is pretty intuitive overall very powerful with the API pulls Only reason for 4 stars is it seems a bit pricey that may change with time I presume as market competition picks up But for now this is the way to go and I recommend it to anyone needing the service

crypto taxes can be pretty intimidating and stressful Token tax s customer service is awesome and make the experience much easier Shout out to Daniel Creahan at token tax customer service for taking his time and effort to help left curve people like myself He deserves a raise

Read this is you want to know about their support

First of all the were quickly and personally responsive at my first email inquiry Kerri was my support person and was stayed with me through a long series of back and forth email helping me every step of the way I am a retired dentist and I am sure some of my questions were due to my lack of computer technology even though I got into bitcoin early If the rest of their company is as good as their support team I would buy their stock I have very seldom written reviews but TokenTax s support was even above the 5 star rating I have given it

I tried 3 other tax services but TokenTax is by far the best

I ve tried three other crypto tax services before TokenTax But this is now my second year using their services and I couldn t be happier Their website is incredibly user-friendly and their customer service team is super responsive and helpful They ve spent what it seems like hours giving me personal attention to resolve some discrepancies in my transactions so that I don t have to pay more taxes than I need to I wouldn t go anywhere else for crypto tax services 10 10

I looked at 3 different online

I looked at 3 different online companies for our crypto tax calculations TokenTax was the only one who could answer my questions completely and in easy to understand terms I had some hiccups connecting my exchanges but their live chat was right there and we corrected things I literally have less than an hour invested in getting my tax forms ready for filing They are prompt and courteous Really this stuff is easy even for us older generations Highly recommended

Fast and competent support

This is my 2nd year on TokenTax I started using it for tax reporting due to the ease of use and quality of support It is amazing how reliably responsive the Support Team has been even in the height of tax season They are friendly and always willing to put in the necessary and sometimes tedious research to help sort things out
