"An Excellent Service"

I have used Trusted Housesitters numerous times now for both posted sits and specific invite sits I can honestly say I have never been displeased and most often delighted with the individuals whom I have invited to sit My most recent candidate one I was inviting for the first time was truly the best yet All my sitters have taken excellent care of my cat and the house and attended to any other responsibilities well Trusted Housesitters have allowed me to travel frequently and sometimes for extended periods of time without concern and I am very grateful for the service

"This way of welcoming petsitters is wonderful "

I had 7 trips in 2023 and welcomed 7 different sitters single couples mom and daughter They all were so kind to my little dog and cared for my home as if it was their own They all seemed to enjoy Vermont so it was a win-win on both sides There were skeptics that warned me against this idea They could not be more wrong TrustedHousesitters has been a thoroughly excellent experience One day I want to be a sitter myself

"Brilliant concept We recently discovered the app Trusted "

We recently discovered the app Trusted house sitters and it is a game changer for us We love to travel but have not been able to do so as much because pet care is expensive and stressful on our pets The whole concept of having pet lovers come stay in our home at no cost is brilliant It helps both the pet owners and the sitters who get to experience life in a place they would love to visit I highly recommend using this app

"Amazing concept- and it works "

I signed up with trusted housesitters initially to find a sitter for my dogInstead I took a sit position for a tiny poodle near my grandchildren in San Diego It couldn t have gone better and I look forward to another great experience

"FANTASTIC first experience "

We have had a GREAT experience with Trusted Housesitters I had never heard of it before Thank goodness someone told me about it We have boarded our dogs plenty of times over the years but never for more than a week or two at the most In the past we ve had the luxury of having a family member being able to come and stay at our home for extended travel but now they are living abroad and we didn t have anyone who could do that When I went on sites like Rover it would have cost us nearly 2000 to have someone come stay at our home and those were even people who would be gone much of the day at their regular jobs Trusted Housesitters is such a WIN WIN for both the home pet owner and for the home petsitter The sitters get to travel to places and not have to pay to stay and the homeowner gets a verified sitter to stay at their home and care for their pet and it doesn t cost them anything Such a great concept and it s global This was our first experience using Trusted Housesitters and it was nothing but 100 positive We were a bit anxious at first thinking of complete strangers in our home but those anxieties were completely eliminated by our sitters And we had two sets of sitters during our almost 6 weeks abroad I am thinking about becoming a sitter myself so I can go to new places not have to pay to stay and be able to take care of someone s beloved pet at the same time The site is extremely easy to use and navigate and they have EVERYTHING covered very clearly It is easy to understand and the whole thing is just so well done Bravo

"We have been members of THS since 2015 "

We have been members of THS since 2015 and absolutely love it Its a great platform for both owners and sitters and any issues we have had owners coming home early because they were sick the help desk helped us with cancelling the rest of the sit so we could apply for the next one They started a forum it s very helpful to read I just love pet sitting this is the best way to do it all around the world My only serious complaint is that the sit is tied to the pets location not the sitter For instance we sat a dog in Singapore one year the next year they moved to Tokyo we sat for them there Then they moved to Seattle and now our sit history shows that we had 2 sits in Seattle No mention of Singapore or Tokyo I think it does a great disservice to the sitters their history I believe this is the best most reliable platform for pet home owners And a big bonus for us non pet owners who love other people s pets

"A first year"

I ve been with TH for nearly a year have undertaken eight sits so far I find the web page really easy to navigate I like the ability to video chat with the house cat owners before accepting an offer to sit Descriptions of the homes are very accurate the requirement for a welcome guide equally helpful My experiences have all been good I have discovered parts of the country I didn t previously know all possible because of the information on the site My most recent was to Malvern in a barn conversion in a rural setting with a lovely cat companion A really delightful sit for lovely people

"Gives much more freedom to travel"

We have used this company the past 3 years to look after our home pets Its good that sitters can be recommended through reviews They have always responded to queries regarding the website content promptly their airport lounge passes are a great treat especially during airport delays It has meant we have been able to travel much more as paying for dog sitters nightly is usually too prohibitive for any length of time we would never use kennels Their app on my samsung phone can be a bit hit miss so more work needed there but useful if there is an emergency

"Brilliant idea which works well but the app is c app"

Really great platform for finding pet sitters Whether we were lucky living close to a World Heritage town but there seemed to be a lot of sitters applying for our gig We were able to meet our sitters beforehand by negotiation as we were leaving very early in the morning and they arrived the night before we left and waited for us to get home on the return leg The security side of the site and the vetting was all reassuring The only bit that let it down was the app it is clunky to set up your property and the navigation within it is generally nonsensical Uploading the photos made me feel like an old person and swear a lot

Our first experience with Trusted Housesitters with both the system and the housesitter we worked with could not have been better Wish we d known about them many trips ago We feel as though we could not have left our dog or our home in better hands
