I have submitted 2 support tickets and I only got 1 stupid robot answer with links to articles totally unrelated to the problem which I clearly spelled out in my tickets The only number you can call hangs up on you after telling you to submit a ticket This is supposed to be professional equipment It should have professional support But it doesn t I m fed up

Lexicon reverb plugin license absolute snafu

I bought the Lexicon reverb plugin I cannot use it but the installation stepped through the licensing through the iLock cloud instead of normal without forewarning otherwise I would not have bought it but i don t have nor want a dongle the company will not cancel the license and issue a refund This is outright theft in my opinion very shabby customer relations in cahoots with Plugin Boutique So I have a supposedly activated license but the VST will not properly load into Ableton Live and I can t expunge it from my iLock either Very very poor

Customer service has decided to treat

Customer service has decided to treat us very unprofessionally We have been refused customer service for an insured relatively new Apollo unit We had it professionally test out at a recording studio In Shoreline WA UA will not even take it back for testing If we had known the company was this rude and false to customers we would have searched out another product from a different company Read this and buy something else Do not go thru what we have 5-3-2022

Useless customer service

I bought ravel grand piano plug in and followed all download instructions to the letter I paid 40 for this and it just sits unusable on my pc I have tried literally everything i can to use it to no avail I emailed the supplier who were no help except to tell me to contact UAD They have not even bothered to reply Will never use this company again 40 down the drain UpdateFinally got this program to do something It occationally loads when it feels like then drops out whilst playing Absolute rubbish I have a quad core processor with nothing else running yet its still crap

Definitely selling my Apollo for a reliable brand

Definitely selling my apollo twin for something else due to the nonexistent customer service These are some of the most expensive interfaces and plugins on the planet but there s no customer service I payed for the spark subscription but the ua connect app won t open The only part about this entire situation that went smoothly is when they charged my debit card It was immediate and no problems whatsoever when taking my money I can t wait until I get rid of this thing Don t believe the Apollo hype Purchase you something more reliable

What has happened to this company

I don t want to leave this review have had the apollo for years and have purchased more plugins than I like to admit Recently signed up for their UA Connect Service literally nothing has worked for over a month plugins no longer even show up in my DAW the UA Connect app never connects and their support takes WEEKS to respond Unbelievable it s not like they re a cheap company how is your support SO AWFUL Happy to revise my review If You Get Your Sh Together

Terrible support

I finally decided to buy a UA native plugin and so wish I hadn t In order to even install the plugin you have to use UA Connect which doesn t work I ve raised a support ticket but had no response other than the automated we ve received your support request I ll be demanding a full refund and will never touch UA with a barge pole ever again Hopeless

AVOID THEIR SHOP USE RESELLERS

Good plugins but their shop is a joke they ripped off all their loyal customers recently with the Native Ampex plugin 49 in their shop then had the audacity to email me later to offer it for 39 I had contacted support who couldn t have cared less and now they have blatantly rubbed my nose in their extremely suspect business practice I will not buy another plugin from them again Awful business practice but good plugins

Compatibility Issues iLok macOS

Have been informed about iLok compatibility issues with the new version of macOS again Thats not acceptable in 2024 UA Audio Make iLok avoid such problems and please find another copyright solution iLok has hurt us since the 90 I do not want to postpone any Mac OS upgrade Stopped buying any new plugin with iLok
