This company is corrupt Veolia Durham have caused significant damage to my vehicle due to mishandling of their bins and are denying any liability Absolutely shocking

Terrible

Overcharging Missed waste collections charging for cancelled collections Over charging Going to wrong address then charging double Do not use In 7 yrs not 1 month there is a screw up but we get charged for it

Veolia especially the Durham

Veolia especially the Durham Department repeatedly let you down No customer care No responsibility or accountability for their service They change waste collection dates without telling you Struggle to carry out simple tasks never reply to any emails and when you try to complain or correct something its always another departments fault So many issues with this company Would not recommended at all

Traumatic

I have had 1 of the most traumatic experiences with veolia today I put my recycling out as normal last night when they came this morning the bin guy walked past it so I opened the window and asked him why he hadn t taken it so he said there was glass bottles on top NOT MINE so I went out and took them out and he still refused to take it landing in a big argument as to why he was rude arrogant and abusive I have never felt so intimidated ever so out of anger I took the bag to the back of the lorry and emptied it resulting in it all going over the road not the best thing to do but I was so angry and i have swept it all up I have cut my hand on a tin lid because of all of that actual blood dripping on the road while I was trying to sweep it up he was refusing to move the lorry telling me they were on a break just being really awkward what a emotional reck this has left me in today shaking pains in my chest and never want to experience that ever again

Awful

Unfortunately this is the worst rubbish collection company I ve ever dealt with Missed collections and overcharging for extra loads happen almost every month Out of the last seven months there were only two without any issues I received the invoice for December today and according to the breakdown there was a collection on 31 12 24 Yet my bin is still full The customer service is appalling asking questions like Can you prove the bin wasn t emptied Yes I can it s still FULL This has gone beyond a joke I ll be canceling my contract immediately

Problems with Veolia

I ve been requesting a new food recycling bin since December 9th last year and have yet to receive one Is this a record The last time I was having difficulty with this company and did a review its response was to suggest that I liaise with my local council on the matter Be assured that I m pursuing the usual avenues in these circumstances but to date have not had any success P S Veolia have requested more information from me which is a positive isn t it I ve provided what I can but couldn t provide any sort of reference number I have come across a Southwark council ref number though - it s 34251949 I do hope that you see this Veolia but I don t understand why it s so laborious getting in touch with you 16 01 25 17 01 25 I have to laugh at Veolia s response advising me to contacyt my local council I had said that I ve already contacted them hadn t I Those efforts resulted in nothing it had been twice recorded that the food bin had been delivered - NO I have to laugh and am putting my waste food into my non-recyclable rubbish with a clear conscience

Missed collections

Missed collections charging me for collecting other people bins then saying I have to prove they did it by providing CCTV evidence I d actually forgotten to put the bin outside the gate so they defo emptied someone elses bin The wont collect from outside my unit as its down an alley Managers not calling back when complaints are made Awful online messaging service when you have to contact them They can can basically do no wrong and will charge you accordingly Avoid like the plague I m taking my business elsewhere

Charging for a bin never received

Ref 11260Signed a contract with Veolia in September They have continued to charge me for a bin l never received they even tried to charge me excess weight for this invisible bin Despite numerous phone calls to customer service emailing and contacting Rhys Jones who did apologise for their error back in October my most recent invoice continues to include this bin and the emptying off I have cancelled my direct debit and will only be paying for the service and goods that l have received

Poor service

We have got off to a bad start with this company being promised a bin for over a week and not been delivered on time Multiple visits to sort out paperwork prior to commencing the contract Hopefully the service ongoing is reliable
