Check In at counter costs 50 US Dollars
Usually you can check in online at some terminals in the airport or at the counters where you drop off your bags At Volaris they ll send you away in a rude way after waiting 1 5h in line And when you ask if you can check in they say it s 50 dollars So I checked in at a terminal and went back to the 1 5h line again Ridiculous

Horrible airline
I would give this a 0 stars if available Worst airline How it remains In business is astonishing to me The customer number literally hung up on me over 50 times It is partnered with ChipOair that is just as Horrible as Volaris I believe they just want to take peoples money and could care less about customer service Do not purchase airfare from either one Pay a full fare with a reputable airline and save yourself stress and ulcers

One of the worst customer service I
One of the worst customer service I have ever encountered called to change my flight to new dates knowing I would need to pay a penalty but they wanted me to pay a penalty plus the difference in rate of the new new That made sense The issue is that the flight option I was looking at was cheaper than what I paid but they wanted to charge me an additional 300 for the change Why you might ask well they did not explain that is what it is - Horrible airline with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Volaris Overbooked my return flight and
Volaris Overbooked my return flight and shortened my visit by two days Return option offered by Volaris would have included a three hour bus ride from San Francisco To get my original return itinerary I ended up having to purchase two additional tickets totaling nearly 500 And I was not able to get my money back from the first ticket I booked through Volaris Unacceptable service and concern for the consumer at every level I will never choose Volaris again

Useless customer service
Useless customer service We booked through a 3rd party and the Volaris reservation somehow wasn t showing both passengers Got hung up on multiple times after countless hours on hold and then was finally directed to whatsapp to continue the conversation where I waited for 4 hours for a response finally got a Hello my name is Renan how can I help and then was promptly ghosted after that Would not recommend this airline to anyone

Charged for a ticket only to be told there were no seats left when we arrived to the airport Staff were rude employing an ignore the customer policy We weren t even refunded instead given a number to call meaning we could afford to pay for a different company flight Clear criminal behaviour of double selling seats

We were helped by a lady named Dalia at the GDL airport She was immediately unfriendly and asked us why we hadn t checked in yet I told her we had tried three times but the app wasn t working She then asked me and my family including baby to step aside so that she could help others in line and asked me to try the app again so that she could see the error message After I showed her the error message she proceeded to charge us more than 1 700 MX pesos or the equivalent of 115 USD for one checked-in bag I asked her why she was charging so much and she said because we didn t use the Volaris app I reminded her it wasn t working and she said she couldn t help me

DONT FLY WITH VOLARIS
First off on an international flight they made us throw out all our water bottles only to make us wait 2 hours to board and then wait another 2 hours on the flight for in service attendance to begin only to CHARGE for a tiny bottle of water 3 for a bottle of water absurd and completely ridiculous Never ever flying Volaris again Not sure how they get away with such service its terrible
