This company is truly awful avoid at all costs
This company is awful Their check in staff are primed to get the max possible money out of the customer who thinks he s got a good deal Tonight at Bogota Airport Colombia one of them told me I had to pay extra as I hadn t come with a paper boarding pass I had it downloaded to the phone but he said I couldn t go away get it printed and come back in ten minutes lies and I fell for it Their services are basic hard seats no complimentary refreshments offered and they do everything they can to prevent the customer finding out how much extra he has to pay for a normal service like being able to sit next to his wife I will never ever use this lot again they re awful

Viva Air are thieves
Viva Air refuses to refund tickets for cancelled flights Although I made numerous requests to reimburse my tickets Viva Air only state that I will get a voucher valid till November 2020 I am not in South America and won t be in the foreseeable future so there is nothing I can do with a voucher I only have one word for Viva Air THIEVES

Don t bother Just pay the extra coin for a real airline
Will second every single review already made regarding Viva Air Cancelled our flight but never informed us then blamed a 3rd party booking agency for the error even though we booked directly with them Charged us 13 USD to print a boarding pass and 80 00 to rebook the flight even though they cancelled on us Booking was in English rest if the emails were all in Spanish they deliberately try to confuse you to get extra cash at the gate Plastic seats in the plane like you re at school I have no idea how this airline operates legally shame on the airline standard in Peru and Columbia

I actually got my refund last year
I had a refund fight with Viva Air last year before the Covid-19 situation It was a looong fight but actually I managed to receive a refund from them transferred to my bank account - so just keep fighting and you would probably receive the money They actually have some people to contact and not just chat robots Maybe just give up and let them have your money - you can earn better salary working the same hours on your job compaired to the work of the refund proces

Viva air is Terrible Bad Horrible Lima Cusco a 3-hour delay on a two-hour flight Return flight without notice resceduled so that I could not make my return flight to Amsterdam Bully you by saying that you did receive a message No solution offered No possibility of a refund WORTHLESS

Terrible Avoid at all cost literally
Joke airline i would sooner not go to a destination than fly with them again They charge you for anything any everything without making it clear what will incur a charge at any point It has the slowest check in humanly possible I was at the desk 15 minutes with the person behind the counter tapping away no clue what they were dong as no other airline has ever taken that long Expect to queue for well over an hour and don t expect any comfort on the flight Solid plastic seats that you can t recline at all DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE

EVERYONE CONTACT aerocivil gov co email at atencionalciudadano aerocivil gov co or call at PBX 571 425 1000 - 571 594 8600 and demand VIVA AIR return money back to customers because they couldnt provide flight services for the dates that we paid for We cannot sit idly by and let a rich privileged airline steal from hard working innocent people We will not stand for this treatment My wife and I s honeymoon flight to Peru in March was cancelled and they refuse to give us back our 770 we gave to them We will not accept your voucher VivaAir We never asked for one we only asked for a refund

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER VIVA AIR Absolutely horrible service One hour before our flight left they closed for luggage drop off So we missed the flight We were told that we could change the ticket for an extra cost We asked the lady behind the counter if we could get some time to talk about it and she said yes When we came back after 30 minutes they upped the price for the change to 300 US dollars It was more than the tickets had costs us in the first place I talked to a guy who was SO impolite and arrogant He said that it was the policy of the company I turned to the lady who gave us the first price and asked her why she didn t warn us about the spike in the price and the man just waved a hand in front of me saying that she couldn t speak English - eventhough we ve talked together 30 minutes before that He just kept lying after that My husband went to talk to them after me and they just completely ignored him The girls behind the counter chatted while the guy just wouldn t answer him If you consider flying with Viva air - just don t

I don t usually write negative reviews but people should be warned about Viva Air The only way to say it is that they are robber barons The executives should be jailed and their employees are complicit in the larceny They are willing to cancel flights charge extra for seats luggage printing of boarding pass and then will give your seat away and make you fly standby or bump you all together Put them out of business Don t fly Viva

Absolutely horrible airline they try to rip you off every chance they can
Absolutely horrible airline They don t let you have an electronic boarding pass if you don t print it they will charge usd 13 unreasonable carry-on luggage requirements literally only allowed a small bagpack A small roller carry on luggage will be charged for being too tall I got charged 140 soles usd 43 for the luggage which ended up going in the overhead compartment anyway Absolutle joke of an airline trying to rip you off every chance they can I arrived in Cusco airport and the flight information wasn t up until 30 minutes before the flight with no ground staff on hand to help with any queries
