Do NOT buy anything from this company They are the worst most DECEITFUL business I have ever had the misfortune to deal with They fail to meet the terms of their contracts I would give negative stars if I could Using their financing option I bought a scooter back in September mostly because their website advertised in stock and If you have an issue we will solve it Whatever it takes Turns out those two statements appear to be lies as they never delivered what was paid for After a month of waiting my scooter hadn t arrived so I contacted the company to find out what was going on They said it had been shipped by train and would be there in a week or so Two weeks later it hadn t arrived I contacted them again They said it had been shipped was in a warehouse in Barstow CA and would arrive in a week or so This went on for MONTHS them saying it will arrive in a week or so with the scooter not arriving So I started doing deeper research into the company wish I had done THAT at the start I found a lot of deceptive things in my research First I found they create fake profiles on websites to falsify positive feedback So be wary of any positive reviews they could easily be Zoom employees friends families Second they have an F rating with their local Better Business Bureau and LOADS of complaints filed against them Third the little charade on their website about being better than Bloom Scooters is a scam Zoom Bloom Ampere and CoolPeds are all interconnected and managed by many of the same people Fourth they like to call themselves ZoomUSA and talk about their factory in California implying to consumers they are an American company However no where does it say made in the USA I would bet dollars to donuts they import these scooters almost completely assembled from Asia maybe insert some headlights then send them on to the end user with a healthy markup So after months of waiting while my scooter was not being delivered despite being told repeatedly it would be there in a week or two I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I also decided I needed to make the general public aware of how this company treats its customers so I started putting my story on the WWW I had paid for a scooter and after months and months of waiting they never delivered it Eventually I got fed up and started thinking these people were liars I sent a message telling them I wanted proof the item had been shipped a tracking number bill of lading packing list the kinds of things companies have in digital format so they can keep track of their logistics Incredibly in January yes that is FOUR MONTHS after paying them instead of sending proof the item had been shipped they sent me a cease and desist letter threatening legal action for defamation I was shocked and amazed They re trying to play the victims It s ludicrous The person who has paid money and not received their goods is the victim The company that took the money and failed to deliver what was paid for is the PERPETRATOR I can t believe these people consider themselves businessmen So I sent a reply back to the company I told them I welcome their legal case and look forward to seeing them in court Nothing I had said was false if they didn t want negative feedback they should ensure delivery of goods that had been paid for I would not be changing what I had said However if they made good on delivery of the item within 1 week and discounted me 950 dollars for my inconvenience I would add a continuation to my reviews saying the scooter had finally arrived and give my impression of the item since I ve never been given the opportunity to ride one I hoped they would agree to my offer after all their website clearly states they have a 100 happiness guarantee and will do whatever it takes to satisfy the customer Clearly those statements are all lies because instead of sending my scooter they refunded my money to the finance company People reading this should ask themselves why didn t they just deliver what was paid for instead of dragging things out for FOUR MONTHS After all that is what business is all about one party supplies the money the other party supplies goods and or services Why not send what was paid for The most likely answer is they never sent it because they never had one to send I firmly believe they don t produce anything in their factory in California instead all their scooters are were stuck in Asian cargo ships off the coast of Los Angeles and their continuous statements that it was on a train and in a warehouse in Barstow were total LIES In short don t do business with these people They are deceitful and not trustworthy

Trustpilot This isn t getting anywhere Even the BBB has complaints against this company ZoomElectricScooters I ve said my peace I will NEVER BUY NOR RECOMMEND ANYTHING ELSE FROM ZOOM ELECTRIC SCOOTERS of California ZOOM ELECTRIC SCOOTERS OUT OF CALIFORNIA -NEVER GAVE ME ANYTHING OTHER THAN A HEADACHE From the day of my order back in JULY 05 2020 Till MAY 18 2022 I called and I chatted online with Zoom Customer Service on several occasions between 2020 to 2022 about replacing the original batteries on the Trike scooter I purchased in July 2020 I also asked and complained that I wanted to know where I could take this scooter to be checked BY A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC And it wasn t until I posted my first post about my frustration and ordeal with Zoom Electric Scooter Company that I received an email on June 22 2022 stating We can try to arrange mobile mechanic at the MARKET RATE DID YOU LIKE US TO FIND ONE FOR YOU MARKET RATE IS ABOUT 70- 90 00 US DOLLARS AN HOUR I WAS NEVER TOLD THE MARKET PRICE TILL JUNE 22 2022So I placed an order for the 6 REPLACEMENT BATTERIES from Zoom Electric Scooter on MAY 18 2022 They COSTED ME 417 95 with tax I RECEIVED THEM IN JUNE 2022 BATTERIES THAT I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN FOR FREE ACCORDING TO ZOOM ELECTRIC SCOOTER s FREE 2 YEAR WARRANTY ON POWERTRAIN 99 VALUE I questioned the details of their warranty and I if could attached a copy of my original BILL OF SALE I WOULD INSTEAD I RECEIVE A THREAT OF LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST ME to REMOVE MY REVIEW WHICH BY THE WAY WAS FLAGGED ON TRUSTED PILOT TILL I SUBMITTED ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS PROVING THAT I WAS NOT AND AM NOT LYING Yes I got frustrated and annoyed with Zoom Electric Scooters but I APOLOGIZED TO ZOOM FOR MY OUTBURST BUT I ALSO TOLD THEM THAT IF THEY HAD BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE CUSTOMERS WOULDN T GET FRUSTRATED AND DISGUSTED WITH THE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS FOR ASSISTANCE After several attempts for assistance from Zoom Electric Scooters with installing these 6 New MIGHTYMAX BATTERIES ALL WITH ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION on how to handle them but I needed Zoom to help me with the installation and what response did I get Email June 4th 2022 Pls show us the wires and how they are connected June 4th 2022 We will check if they are installed correctly Told to take pictures and video MY concerns before REMOVING THE ORIGINAL LEAD ACID BATTERIES and RECEIVING THE NEW LEAD ACID BATTERIES I ASKED IF I NEEDED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TOOLS OR CLOTHING I received an EMAIL on MAY 7th 2022 advising me that You need to wear ONSULATED GLOVES ALSO O K But what really pissed me off was on May 7 2022 I received another email that simply stated and I quote IF YOU ARE HANDY THEN IT SHOULD NOT BE DIFFICULT IF I AM HANDY WHAT GREAT ADVISE So if ZOOM ELECTRIC SCOOTERS want to take LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST ME FOR TELLING THE TRUTH AN AMERICAN CITIZEN OF THESE UNITED STATES LAND OF THE FREE AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH THEN I ASK WHAT HAS BECOME OF OUR COUNTRY

Got refund
Fourth review I received a text from zoomescooters pointing out that I said something wrong in my Third Review below So they re still putting energy into this cancelled order My advice would be to put in the energy earlier when it could do some good Here s what I was wrong about I said it took a negative review for them to tell me that my address was a problem Actually they told me that my address was a problem after I cancelled the order on September 9 I stand corrected I think they re missing the point here which is that timely customer communication is important In particular if they had told me there was going to be a shipping problem around the time I made the order July 11 I would have had it shipped to another address like of a friend or relative Then it wouldn t have actually been a problem Third review The Second review got me a refund If they had put a tenth as much effort into actually providing customer service as opposed to going nuts over a negative review there wouldn t be negative reviews in the first place For example they say in their reply to my review that I live on a remote island and that s why delivery was taking so long That was news to me I never heard that before their reply to my review I live on an island but it s hardly remote If somehow it was a problem for their shipper why did it take two months and a negative review for them to tell me that My impression is that they re learning about Customer Service 101 on the job While my experience was negative I wish them the best and hope they eventually graduate from the 101 class and maybe move on to Intermediate or even Advanced Customer Service Second review Posting the review below finally got some action I got a call from someone saying they would refund my money So presumably they re not bankrupt and hopefully the refund will show up - will update review if it does First review This company may be bankrupt They do not respond to email chat or phone They charged me for a scooter on July 11 and then kept changing the date it was supposed to arrive - it never did I tried to get a refund and never heard from them again

ZOOM Electric Scooters out of California NEVER SENT NOR OFFERED TO GIVE ME 6 FREE BATTERY REPLACEMENTS As Replied from Zoom Electric Scooters Mopeds Jun 22 2022 We sent the customer free battery replacements even though they were out of the one year warranty as courtesy And we actually talked to customer on the phone many times as proven on our phone records so the comments are highly untrue Thanks I am only stated the TRUTH THAT ZOOMSCOOTERS DID NOT GIVE ME NOT ONE FREE BATTERY I paid 417 95 on May 18 2023 for Order 1175 to ZOOMSCOOTERS for 6 Replacement Batteries that ZOOMSCOOTERS ordered from Mighty Max Battery Edison NJ I am only stating the TRUTH THAT I CALLED EMAILED CHAT TEXTED WITH ZOOMSCOOTERS on numerous occasions REQUESTING help for a certified mechanic shop I can take this ZOOMSCOOTERS to to have these 6 Batteries Replaced properly I stated to ZOOMSCOOTERS that if their Customer Service was better customers wouldn t get so frustrated with them I purchased the ZOOMSCOOTERS Trike 3 wheels in 2020 during the Covid-19 Pandemic for a little isolated me time But I have since given away I have NO PROBLEM removing this posted review from TRUSTPILOT about ZOOMSCOOTERS If you want something simple fun and NO GAS It s a pretty fun thing to have

This company is a joke I originally ordered one oct 19 2021 didnt arrive till dec 27th I asked for all the paperwork to be sent to me with the scooter Scooter had blinker issues 2nd day I had it They sent the replacement part but told me I had to pay the mechanic never shipped with charger had to wait 1 week never came with free scooter cover and it took them 4 months to send me all the paperwork I finally sold this scooter as it was a headache dealing with these guys from day 1 Stay away from these jerks they don t care about customers

BEWARE
BEWARE I ordered a Zoom e-scooter based upon the Trustpilot score of 4 0 shown on the website which is obviously WRONG After 5 MONTHS of waiting and being told 4 times that the scooter was in route and would be delivered at the end of the month March April May June I finally accepted a refund They continued misrepresent their commitments Therefore I can only imagine how unreliable their product warranty and service would be At the request of Zoom I am providing additional background After 2 months they offered to refund my money but I believed their misrepresentation on delivery status They then offered a 300 discount to take down my original complaint and recieve an end of month delivery Because I needed wanted the scooter i chose the delivery For the subsequent months they offered the same refund or end of month delivery I chose delivery Still NO SCOOTER After 5 months of misleading information chiding from my friends and family and checking out Better Business Bureau - F RATING I submitted to accepting the refund for the scooter I was never going to get from Zoom If they misrepresent about purchase and delivery what kind of warranty and support could I expect if I ever received the scooter that apparently was never shipped

Enjoying my Zoom scooter
I ve had my Zoom scooter for several months now and I really enjoy it For the amount of power range battery capacity and other specs this scooter had the most affordable price The delivery time was a bit longer than usual but it was shorter or comparable to other products I looked at I remember at that time other products I was looking at were out of stock or would take several months to deliver because of the pandemic and port logistics issues So it was understandable On average I get a range of about 50 miles I usually ride pretty flat streets It s comfortable with nice shock absorption and it s alot of fun to ride the torque is instant I ve read that if you need a part or have some issues that need to be fixed it may take some some time to wait for the parts or you may need to be able to find a mechanic that knows how to fix it but i haven t had any issues with mine yet I recommend this electric scooter if you want a good value compared to other similar scooters and can understand that maybe you may have to deal with some hiccups like longer delivery time for parts or something compared to other more expensive scooters

Zoom Electric Moped scooter 3 month review
I had other gas scooters before but decided to go electric finally Found Zoom on my Google search initially for scooters I needed to call them to make sure they were legit Ken was very nice in explaining their product features Then I Ordered mine the same day on their website and received a free Bluetooth speaker as part of the deal Delivery took around 3 weeks to get to my door Unpacked it easily Truck driver was kind enough to move the crate to my garage Scooter arrived in perfect condition but did not get the cover as part of the promotion But I received it afterwards The scooter performs nicely around town and gets up to 33 mph On average it gets 50 Miles per full charge depending on how hard I press the throttle It is built with high quality parts and should last a long time The led dashboard shows the power level and battery gauge The battery bars are kind of vague but the voltage indicator is quite accurate so I go with the voltage number to plan my route Overall it is a decent purchase
