My product was ok however the shipping took more than expected without prior notice

The shipping is fast but the customer service is poor and lots of times I ve received broken products

I have often ordered through Amazon and it is usually fairly easy and delivery on time But this my new phone got list by the carrier No problem I thought I contact Amazon to get a replacement Now 3 days later the carrier has still not been contacted by amazon for a confirmation of the lost goods and for some reason Amazon doesn t answer any of my questions I just keep getting an automated email from their customer service representatives I doubt they even read what s in the emails Edit got a replacement in the end and this time they send it with DHL express

I have used Amazon for what feels like forever I don t like the fact that its now like an eBay where you are buying directly from sellers rather than Amazon handling the order everything I order from Amazon directly I have no problems with but via third parties its nothing but trouble every time

First of all Amazon s address correction is annoying It changes the 4 digit suffix of the zip code which causes my item to be shipped to the housing campus instead of the university P O box and causing delays in the order s arrival I luckily fixed this by reentering my address and selecting not to use the suggested address so that it does not change the 4 digit suffix Secondly the goods I have ordered at Amazon are both expensive and of low quality I spent 20 on the a glass only genuine screen replacement replacement yes it s only the glass and a mini screwdriver and pieces of plastic to pry the things open and etc it s not a whole lcd panel 20 is the average price The screwdriver did not work obviously and the glass broke on its own so I just got some ionized glass replacement from an online phone parts store that worked for the same price - - My second most recent purchase that I recently had trouble with was air mattress repair adhesives They stated to let it cure for 4 hours and I let it cure for a whopping 24 hours What a surprise it doesn t work Oddly enough some brand I ordered off of Temu out of desperation to include with the rest of my order on there did work Maybe it s because Temu is invitation only for sellers but Amazon is pretty sucky at vetting their products The rest of the products that I would actually use are available at other retailers for much cheaper I can get Samyang ramen from Walmart pickup or delivery for literally half the price 7 dollars there and 14 dollars off of Amazon I get it for even cheaper at the Chinese grocery but as a person who doesn t have access to transportation all the time online options help me a lot Anything of value is probably much higher than their appropriate price and if you want to pay double for the same exact thing only because mUh amAzoN or because you have a prime membership that doesn t even deliver on time like mine did that s your decision Honestly there s a lot of things I use now that are much better than Amazon Because I use a university p o box Lowes online and sometimes Walmart if you are willing to do a lot of communication with sellers will work Temu works but you should get generic stuff off there I got a set of measuring spoons for less than a dollar for example because I don t care where they come from Honesty buying used goods from Ebay is probably much better if you just want like an iPhone or a switch and don t give a rat s ass about the latest and greatest or whatever The iPhone works smooth as butter doesn t break the bank and is as good as any new iPhone You can also actually communicate with the sellers if anything goes wrong Ebay sells some cute and exotic pet fish too but don t be a monster and ship them expedited and give them a huge multigallon tank Mercari is kind of like a war zone and I believe half the sellers hate buyers and vice versa but they have insanely good customer service and almost all issues are resolved Etsy is for pretty things they are more pricey but those things are more expensive on Amazon if they re even available like dolls Flea markets and thrift stores have much more fashionable and varied clothes as well as exotic goods for cheaper but you can use Macy s to online shop for new clothes at good price and Dillards Dillard s clearance for good name brands Even shopping at a normal store is probably better than Amazon at this rate Finally Amazon is very abusive to sellers They will randomly block accounts and take their money and inventory especially in countries where people have difficulty filing class action law suits such as Germany Amazon will drop listings for containing random words like Bundt or Onesie because they will only allow certain sellers to use that word They will steal popular sellers ideas and outcompete them with their in house brands by making things inconvenient for that seller Amazon goes as far as to flout federal regulations in India to harm their sellers which you can find documentsw for in Reuters They employ shipping companies that pay workers below minimum wage and have been sued for it Their drivers are constantly tracked and are held to high standards for social media and appearance and many of them have to pee in bottles to get their work done They are treated like salaried employs while not getting the benefits of being one The work on Mturk pays minimal If you are salaried you will get 40 hours worth of pay for 60 hours of work and are better off at McDonald s Look through glassdoor articles places where amazon shares experiences Look through the lawsuits and documents Amazon is charging more while simultaneously exploiting its workers There is no ethical incentive to use it either as the cheaper websites are actually more ethical

IN MY OPINION AMAZON IS A RELIABLE SITE WHERE I CAN BUY ANY TYPE OF ARTICLES WITH THE SECURITY THAT IT WILL REACH ME I THINK IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR THEM TO ADD MORE TYPES OF PRODUCTS SUCH AS MORE UPDATED AND BETTER QUALITY CLOTHES THE TIME THAT THINGS TAKE TO ARRIVE FOR ME IS THE INDICATED BECAUSE IS NOT LONG SOMETIMES THE THINGS ARRIVE A LITTLE DEFECTIVE BUT NOTHING THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED IF WE CONTACT TO AMAZON THIS ORDER IS RETURNED AND WE ARE DELIVERED ONE IN A BETTER CONDITION THIS HAS BEEN DONE FOR A UNIVERSITY WORK DON T PAY IT SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THANKS

The delivery of orders is currently shocking if relying on them to be delivered to your home I placed an order on 1 11 to be delivered on 3 11 by Paack and 4 11 by SEUR Neither has been delivered just excuse after excuse This problem has got much worse and almost every order is delayed now due to delivery issues The exception so far is Correos who have generally delivered when they say they will do UPDATE - I have spoken to a customer service advisor who was very helpful so I will see what happens now One of the missing items is being replaced free of charge the other two are due to be delivered tomorrow but I ve heard that before The replaced one will be going to an Amazon Locker next time cutting out couriers altogether UPDATE 2 - The Amazon locker is a much better option my order arrived on time and no need to wait in the house just in case a delivery driver decides to turn up Amazon have refunded the order it should be back on my card in a few days and I ll then re-order to be delivered to the locker
