Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service Spent a total of 60 minutes waiting on the phone holding for a customer service agent who never answered When I phoned through to a receptionist I was told I would have to wait till the end of the day to hear from anyone This was at 9 45 am I wanted to discuss my renewal after 9 years with this brokerage Got a call back at 16 45 from a very nice agent who explained that they were short staffed Irelands largest broker needs to think about employing more people and less saucy reception staff Have cancelled my insurance policy and gone to another company and added home insurance with them Should have done it years ago

Been ringing for the last two days on hold for up to an hour each time and nobody answering phones When Insurance up for renewal will not be renewing with Arachas Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with

We have 2 cars and PI insurance with them they took over Murphy Stuart insurance in Kilkenny and it has been impossible to talk to anyone let alone get an issue with a renewal sorted unfortunately they have taken a very customer friendly service company and replaced it with a very poor customer support system I am waiting on my new certificate but it s only been a few days which would have been sorted with the old company In this case big is not always better please do better guys

Good at first Terrible ongoing service

I used arachas for car home and business insurance and I will no longer use them for any of these Firstly their hold times are ridiculously long on the telephone They clearly need more staff to answer calls but are too cheap to hire more Every year they send me a car Insurance renewal quote which is just a continuation of the previous policy They give me no other options I have to call them to ask for other options and invariably a cheaper policy exists So what is the point of using a broker if they aren t searching for other options for you The staff I dealt with were always polite and courteous The issues clearly stem from the company as a whole

Worst company I have ever dealt with

Worst company I have ever dealt with it Appalling customer service If I could give zero stars I would I have been trying to contact them for two days to transfer my insurance to a different car and cancel my policy with them Does anyone even work there as no one ever answers the phone and I m left on hold for hours They also didn t set up my direct debit properly for my insurance and when I realised I then had to pay more on my monthly repayments to make up for it Worst company to ever deal with it Will never be using them again and will never recommend to anyone

My policy said I was covered for motor rescue but turns out when I broke down I wasn t Have called them multiple times this year for various things and impossible to get the right person on the phone they keep switching you to someone else who passes you on etc I ve been on hold for over an hour today the call back service dropped my call have spoken to 5 people and still cant get through to someone Switching brokers for all my insurance as soon as I get through on the phone Preferred who I had before they were all taken over by Arachas

I will not recommend to any for arachas Shit service in the world You can pay couple euros extra to some other brokers but please don t be with arachas I made phone calls from two different phones and I waited on hold 82 minutes still no response I let my phone number and I got call back in the evening

No customer service

I phoned Arachas yesterday and after being on hold for almost ten minutes I was given the option to hang up and that I would hold my place in the queue and I would get a call back More than 24 hours later I have received no call back and there are issues with my policy that I am disappointed with I doubt I will renew with them

Awful support

Awful supportI wanted to make a change of the policy I was on hold for 2 hours on Friday tried from 2 different phones I sent multiple emails submitted 3-4 forms for a quote just to get some attention and still have 0 response Definitely not working with Arachas anymore

Not answering phones and paying a broker fee twice

My son needed to change his insurance to a new car last week Like most of the other negative reviews it took hours to get a call back Also when did Arachas introduce a broker fee for changing over an insurance policy This never happened when McCormac Hooper Dolan was our broker Effectively my son paid a broker fee twice recently One for his renewal and the other for his change of car Total rip off My insurance is up for renewal this week and I shall be dealing with a different provider for both my car and home insurance
