Tried to order an expensive hoover from them and after I d put in my bank details an error message came up The order never went through it s still sitting in my basket But when I checked my bank account the money had been taken by argos The phone lines are closed because of covid 19 so I ve been trying to get through on their live chat for 2 hours they just keep saying they ll be with me in 30 minutes That s a few hundred pound I don t know if I ll get back Nightmare

Mobile phone ordered on 26 th March still not delivered Now the website says it has been delivered Spending hours on their telephone line with no success They value my custom til my landline phone battery expires every day Live chat unavailable every day 90 out of pocket What a shambles

I have a Challenge Hedge Trimmer which is bettery operated bought from Argos less than 3 years ago The battery does now work and Argos have correctly told me is out of guarantee I said I was perfectly happy to pay for a replacement However they have shown total disinterest in supplying this merely supplying a phone number of an agent Core Services I had previously contacted this agent who had told me they did not have any stock and were clueless as to when they might have some arriving Argos s idea of customer service when pressed by me was that I should keep an eye on the service agent s website to watch out for stock arriving When I suggested that as my purchase contract was between me and Argos and not me and Cores and that Argos provide me with the excellent service to our customers that they had told mr they aimed to do this was responded to with a deafening silence A similar non-response followed my suggestion that to assist a customer they remove and sell me a battery from the stock of Challenge trimmers they were still advertising and selling Shame on you Argos for not giving a toss about after-care service

I have shopped with argos for years with no real problems but never again they are taking money on false pretences i ordered three gift on march 25 along way ahead of my grandsons birthday which is tomorrow may 5 it said the items were in stock and i paid to have them delivered march 29 here we are today and when i look on line i am told to sit tight being processed You cannot contact them they say web chats open from 8 am well i checked at 10 am and still saying off line don t even try to phone them i feel totally scammed as they took my money the same day as the order was placed i can t even hug my grandson on his birthday or go out and get something else as i am considered high risk this is why i placed my order early as i except there are delays but this is almost fraudulent how they are trading as there was no mention of it being delayed when i booked the delivery Argos if you read this my order no is 1562640292 can u look into this and try your best to get it to me by tomorrow

Second delivery not delivered but tracking says it has First order was dropped off at Dominoes next door but no idea where this one is Shop staff very rude and said deal with CS but on hold to them for 45 mins thwn cut off No help from live chat as too busy This is the last time I will ever use them and suggest they get reputable drivers that actually deliver the goods

Purchased Reebok GSB Electronic Aerobic Bike on 21 March Delivered on 1 April After using it only 17 times the buttons on the control panel stopped working I now have a 500 aerobic bike that I can t use None of Argos phone numbers work You are directed to live chat with extraordinarily long wait times It s virtually impossible to get in touch DO NOT BUY FROM ARGOS - you can t sort problems with them Mark Roden

Bought a dishwasher of Argos order number 241281555 it broke down have called these guys constantly can never get through the texting service on the website is a waste of time even messaged them on FB one acknowledgement back then never read the message never been so frustrated easily the worst customer service experience i have ever received so disappointing If its cheaper here i would go elsewhere as if anything goes wrong this company is either not set up for it or worse still is not interested in after sales

Appalling customer service appalling practice They take your money within seconds but take weeks to return your money when they screw up your order Will not be spending 1 more penny at argos spend your money on retailers who know what they are doing ZERO STARS FOR ARGOS
