Deceiving and corrupt business model presented and sold as a travel insurance service but that never is responsible for anything and when you need them the medical claims are never covered by their services as they are only a travel assistance service

Las ltimas vacaciones viajamos por Europa con mi mujer y mis tres hijas para festejar el aniversario por los 20 de casados Tengo la suerte de viajar seguido y siempre contrato un seguro con cobertura de viaje de Starr Insurance Holdings Inc Assistcard in Argentina Esta vez c mo viajaba con toda la familia decidimos aumentar laCobertura y sacar un seguro m sCompleto Fue la primera vez que tuvimos una emergencia ya que a dosd as del regreso nos contagiamos todos COVID Tuvimos que re programar los 5 vuelos de vuelta a casa y tuvimos que reorganizarnos con la estad a en suiza nuestro ltimo destino Nunca imagin que el servicio pod a ser tan decepcionante No s lo nos cost d as Comunicarnos con alguien de la empresa para avisarles de nuestra situaci n tampoco pudimos ser guiados para que nos orienten como pod amos solventar nuestros costos m dicos y acerca de la cobertura contratada Hoy seis meses despu s siguen sin reembolsarnos los gastos en los que incurrimos que superan losSeis mil d lares Si hay algo que voy a recordar de mi viaje familiar por nuestroAniversario es del desastroso servicio y la falta de profesionalismo de la gente que trabaja en esta empresa No quiero dejar de advertirles a aquellos que quieran contratar a esta empresa No te ayudan cuando Tenes la emergencia y tampoco te reenvolsan los gastos Mi nombre es Miguel O Reilly de Buenos Aires Argentina Soy director de una empresa Internacional y miPareja Carola es Arquitecta Tenemos un detallado listado de losGastos y pruebas de lo ocurrido y estoy a disposici n de todo aquel que quiera averiguar los detalles The last vacations we went for a trip with my wife and my three daughters to celebrate our 20th aniversary I am lucky enough to travel often and whenever I do I take out coverage from Starr Insurance Holdings Inc Assistcard in Argentina This time as the whole family was traveling we decided to increase the coverage and hire a more complete insurance It was the first time I had an emergency since we all caught Covid two days before coming back home and we had to attend ourselves in Switzerland and reschedule the 5 flights for our return I never imagined that the service would be so disappointing Not only did we have a hard time communicating for days to let the inssurance know about our situation but we also had to solve our medical problems by ourselves with no guidance from the coverage we had hired Today six months later they have not reimburse us for the expenses that exceed six thousand dollars If there is something that I will remember from my family trip is the disappointment caused by the terrible service and the lack of professionalism of this company I did not want to stop warning all those who think about hiring them They do not help in an emergency and do not cover expenses My Name is Miguel O Reilly from Buenos Aires Argentina I work in a Internacional company as a Director and my Wife Carola it s an Architect

Disappointing Experience A Review of Starr Insurance Holdings Assist Card s Refund Process
After my disappointing experience with Assist Card I cannot recommend this insurance company to anyone I initiated a refund request two weeks ago and I have yet to receive any reimbursement Despite my inquiries the responses are vague and evasive Also there is no estimated timeframe for the refund This lack of communication and resolution is unacceptable Save yourself the trouble and opt for a reputable insurance provider that values customer service and fulfills its commitments effectively

The Worst worst worst insurance I have bought ever Since November 2022 until now May 2023 I only kept chasing month by month without any successful claim Yes their price is cheapest compared to others but please don t fall into the trap Their customers service was handled by people from Philippines and it s in Philippines you will not able to connect with the people or getting contact number of local branch This customer service only able to help u to follow up ur claim via email they are unable to provide you answer of why your claim haven t been processed You can t contact the claim handler by phone only by email which they will unlikely to reply to you They will tell u that it may be landed to your junk mail Or they will tell u that they have tried to contact you but unable to get through To simplify my experience don t waste your time n money with this insurance company

Do not buy Starr insurance hard to claim
I claim for HK trip they gave me some random news articles on Taiwan and Manila and says that HK is in the same geographic direction So it is a known event and is not covered Pls think 10x before you buy Starr insurance

Worst Travel Insurance I have bought
It is by far the worst travel insurance I have bought It looks good with all the coverage but when it comes to claiming there is NO customer service a phone number with no one to answer and email that is unanswered We bought travel insurance for the peace of mind and hopefully the trip went well but when things went wrong Starr insurance instead gave me more stress My first experience and definitely my last They were quick to promise the world but when it comes to claiming I had to keep going after them for months and most of the time I do not get any response from anyone except an automated email

AWFUL Find another insurance it s been 6 months and still no refund
I do not recommend this insurance company to anyone I opened a refund request on the 27 05 2019 for basically 5 000 euros 6k dollars and I still haven t received anything The last update I got was almost 3 months ago and it was - we don t have an ETA of when your refund will come through This is ridiculous Don t waste your time with this assist card and go get yourself a real insurance that might actually help you in the end

Giving 1 star is generous
If I could give a 0 I would do it n doubts Completely unreliable requesting for random information after I got the policy issued and not answering the e-mails WhatsApp center I have been trying to explain that I need an appointment and the only thing they say is we ll get back to you which never happens Do not recommend or rely your health in such irresponsible scam

NO LO USEN PARA VIAJES DE MAS DE UNA SEMANA Soy un Chileno en Sydney y partieron bien despu s de dos semanas dejaron de pagarle a los hospitales que ellos mandaron garant as de pago usan la letra chica del contrato para excusarse de dar reembolsos o ayuda y yo lo estoy demandando porque me rehusaron una ambulancia me dicen que tome un uber a un hospital en espec fico cuando llego el hospital estaba cerrado y su respuesta fue oh perd n valla a este otro Son un desastre entonces NO LOS USEN DO NOT USE THEM FOR TRIPS LONGER THAN A WEEK I am a Chilean in Sydney and they started really well but after two weeks they refused to pay the hospital s despite giving them payment guarantee they used every part of the contract to excuse themselves from any form of help payment I am now suing them because among other things they refused an ambulance told me to get an uber to a specific hospital and when i got there the hospital was closed their response oh sorry go to this other one They have been a nightmare to deal with PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM

It has been 3 months waiting for the company to pay the invoice from the hospital that my dad had to go for an emergency I DO NOT recommend this company Terrible Now I need to go the the court to force them to pay the invoice
