Extremely bad

Really bad I went to the doctor and she gave me some pills that belong to the area of gynecology She also gave me a creme for pimples I know pimples aren t covered but I m asking for the refund of the pills and they keep saying that they cannot refund the creme for the pimples I ve been arguing with them for one week They ignore the pills and keep telling me about that creme I am NEVER using this insurance again Next time I ll pay more but have a good one

After been with them for almost 2 years I had a dental problem and they told me to go to the dentist and fix it pay first and then they refund I spend 300 fixing my teeth iand at the moment of the refund they ask you for a lot of paperwork questioning why and how constantly trying to see any flaw in my story They did not pay me back at the moment and it looks like they will not pay me back never it s sad because I never never contact them before and my problem it s 100 legit but they do not care about your health they care about money Also the process to do the claims does not work website and they are very bad organised I have been by 3 different people working in my case talking to me in 3 different languages Spanish French and English It s a mess Really I am not going to contract this insurance anymore It s funny to see all the good reviews from travel blogs promoting this company TRAP

Hassle for nothingif there was a zero I would give them a zero It s all a very unnecessary hassle For nothing They are not reliable and they refuse to pay I have been waiting since November last year I had to go to a hospital in Colombia i did everything they asked me call them beforehand to get a case number got confirmation documents from my home insurance provider then provided all documents via email and also send them by post - and still nothing I have not heard from them and when I call i am rudely transferred around Also it is not sufficient to send scans for some reason they need papers even if the documents are not originals but copies It s just bad and annoying Go with a different insurance avoid Europ Assistance or Chapka

Chapka are the insurance company for the cancellation insurance when I made a campervan booking via Yescapa com I had to cancel the trip due to the illness of a family member They refuse to pay out for no legitimate reason and I have lost 800 Euros

BIG SCAM DONT USE

BIG SCAM I got this insurance for Canada and only AFTER I paid and signed they sent the the REAL contract where it clearly stated that the insurance DIDN T cover for Canada I asked for money back and they responded with you can t Also you cannot expect everyone to know our insurance

Worst insurance company ever

Worst insurance company ever I got injured they told me I would be reimbursed on the phone and now they refuse to reimburse me because they say I should keep travelling Of course if I was not injured I would have kept travelling I cancelled my surf trip with a broken shoulder I m not gonna go there and watch people surf To be clear I m not asking them to pay for the cancellation fees of the surf trip I m asking them to pay for the doctors I ve seen for my broken shoulder Shoulder that I broke ON A TRIP ABROAD while I was insured on their contract

Cover is too basic refunds aren t straightforward and streamlined

I am giving Chapka a 1 out of 5 because they are an extremely basic cover and did not reimburse me for any of my new medical bills on the basis that nothing I got was covered by them Their refund claiming process is also extremely complicated and not streamline at all Clearly they try and make it as difficult as possible for their customers to get refunded Multiple times I have had to chase them for answers as well I regret signing up with them and do not recommend their services at all

Fraud

For a year I used an Working Holiday insurance with Chapka Never got sick never went to the doctor Suddenly a red rash starts spreading on my foot It drives me nuts It hurts burns etc I make a doctors appointment which costs me over 300 the doctor fills in the Chapka fill out form I pay get the receipt etc To make a long story short after months I am still writing emails every day to ask my money back The state they send me the money to my Mastercard but I never paid my Chapka insurance with a Mastercard This is pure fraud

Worst customer service I ve never seen from the manager which is even worse Literally the lady screamed on me and told me close it please Took me 1month to have a random refund for a cream that I sent 3 TIMESSS the photos of the prescription and they couldn t find it and reply me you don t have any prescription sorry I d never recommend this company at anyone
