The Better Business Bureau BBB is a sham

I just want to let people know from past experience Better Business Bureau known as BBB is a privately owned for profit company that makes its money from corporation fees and will give them an A rating for about 400 dollars a year no matter how bad they are In short BBB is a sham and the consumer should never trust what they say about any business and their services

Cyber protection racket

How can you trust a company that sells it s seal of approval Based on my experience when you file a complaint on the BBB site you can wait months with no results BBB will inevitably find a reason to close your request Notorious scammers display the BBB seal and have nothing but glowing reviews BBB is actually a cyber protection racket

Filed a few complaints for a few

Filed a few complaints for a few organizations and nothing was done All they did was get a response from the organization and tell me to have a good day Mind you the responses they got from organizations were the generic bullsh t that they had personally told me before I filed the complaints Upon rejecting their answer and wanting to further escalate this to get a resolution I was told to go eff myself Don t waste your time with BBB All these years I believed they are an honorable entity but it s clear they are nothing but liars who paint criminal organizations pretty colors so that we can trust them Fockoff

BBB- A Shadow of its former self

As an organization BBB is hopelessly outdated Even when you take time to post a positive review of a non-member company BBB probably first tries to extract a gratuity from the firm to even allow the review to appear on their site The purpose of the internet is to disseminate information not hide or lose it There are some terrible irresponsible businesses which have zero negative reviews How is this possible It indicates that information is basically flushed down the toilet Good or bad it must be too much trouble for the BBB to even be bothered with following its charter I know of only one contractor who is a member of the BBB They fixed my house and did a wonderful job I was thinking about writing a review for them and decided not to because BBB would just lose it

Mixed bag

BBB is a mixed bag experience for me In some situations they seems to remain impartial and allow two way communication In others though they protect the corporation by lame reasons such as contact info is incomplete or beyond scope of BBB s policy or by even abrupt closing of the complaint with an excuse that the issues are beyond their purview BBB s emails contain third-party tracking pixels thus allowing mass surveillance and invisible privacy breach of all users

When I involved the Boston BBB to assist in resolving a matter with Vistaprint com and Cimpress USA they closed the complaint based upon the company stating they would refund my money within 7 days This reflects highly with the BBB that they resolved the complaint and looks highly on Cimpress USA whom responded and offered a solution However Cimpress never delivered a check in 7 days not 14 days not 21 days When I followed up with the BBB they also told me to keep waiting before they would reopen the complaint
