Arrived to have 3 border force checkin open with a que off approx 400 450 people as well as being held to go in there- really poor long start to a break

escalators to and from public transport

it s bad enough that there is no down escalator to the public transport who does not arrive with luggage but today the up escalator from the public transport to the airport also did not work Anybody on the job to fix it Certainly not

Security is abusive in a level that is

Security is abusive in a level that is so unprofessional I am ashamed to be a shareholder of Securitias For of all the scanning equipment must date back to the eightees and absolutely not modern The only fairly modern thing they got I the body scanner but still need to preform an abusive body scan by hand so that tool is just for the staff entertainment and to add on do a manual body search inside the trousers SECURITAS GET THE F-OUT OF THERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BRAND To the airport get modern tools so your security is safe fast and most of all non-abusive am Gold at star alliance silver at one world and gold at skytaem so I am a regular flyer

Many missed flights due to poor security control management

Terminal 2 had only 2 security control lines opened with lines of flight passengers stuck for 90 min So many missed the flights They communicated horribly - they should have redirected ppl to go through terminal 1 but instead they promised we will make it Crazy bad airport

The worse airport ever

The worse airport ever I travel very often and have never seen anything like it Speechless They left thousands of people stranded due to very long delays in the security check We waited over two hours Staff is rude slow and defenitly understaffed Nothing positive to add horrible experience

I will never fly though Berlin again It is the most inefficient airport Never have I experienced the ridiculous slowness that was unnecessary in the security line The staff was extremely rude the agitation of the passengers was off the charts Fly into another German airport if you need to go to Germany I found some of the staff to be authoritarian in spirit Nazi like Do you know it s illegal to refer to someone in Germany as a Nazi The descendants of Nazis have outlawed calling someone a Nazi How ironic is that

Shokingly unprofessional staff

You would expect staff working at an international airport to be customer-oriented professional and polite But no the staff working at the security check at Berlin airport is everything but I travel a lot and never in my life have I encountered more rude and disrespectful staff that take pleasure in insulting and bullying people The way they treat non-German speakers is even more appalling You re being yelled at for something you apparently did wrong and the staff just laughs and clearly enjoys humiliating the customers Total lack of customer service such a shame Congratulations to the recruiting team at Berlin Airport You have managed to hire an exceptional team of the most inefficient abusive and incompetent security staff There must be a special skills requirement in the job description Job well done

worst airport ever - the security check-in is an absolute nightmare You need at least 60 minutes for check-in This is ridiculous They control everything in your luggage taking out Christmas cookies and presents The staff is very unfriendly This is a shame for Berlin and Germany

Awful airport

Only 1 person marshalling the security queue directing people to the longest lines and then shrugging his shoulders when people complain No-one marshalling the pre-scanning area so there are passengers standing about who don t know where to go but empty tray-filling areas right next to them Not enough toilets long waits to use cubicles and they re dirty Not enough catering options airside Hardly any hot food available at all Bring back Sch nefeld Bring back Tegel
