Bluebird sucks If I could rate a zero they wouldn t get the one star they permanently suspended my account because I tried to transfer funds from banking acct to bluebird card for use when traveling primarily the only reason I purchased card Don t waste your time or money purchasing this card

Yesterday I deposited 700 at Walmart on my bluebird card I go try to withdrawal money from atm Error message I tried 6 different ATM s none worked I called bluebird customer service and kept getting the run around Tried buying something with my card still wouldn t work I even tried to transfer my own money to Walmart customer service and the customer service people said my reference number was invalid Now all bluebird reps could do is take 20 00 from me to expedite a new card If I lose all my money im gonna lose my mind They can t get away with this I ve already have an open investigation on this fraud bank

Blue bird american express has the WORST customer service Horrible Rude unhelpful people who hang up on you and don t even let you finish your question One person trying to hang up said yeah well I m getting a lot of calls uh what it s your job to answer questions If i hung up one people when I worked in customer service i would have been Fired Atrocious Their site never works you get locked out of your account and can t get ANY help Try calling in and it s nothing but a robot menu impossible to get anywhere Completely dissatisfied

Horrible customer service
Called customer service twice Was put on hold twice and left there Finally hung up both times Customer service could not speak decent English I have had my card for years but will discontinue use now Especially after reading about people getting their money stolen I think maybe Walmart has split with Amex on this I don t know but now Walmart charges 4 to add money to account Good luck Americans You are screwed

Can t reach them to have them close a fraudulent account
Someone fraudulently opened an online account with them using my name address I ve been trying to contact them to have the account closed Their phone system won t let me talk to anyone without entering at least part of my social security number Their website lists no other way of contacting them other than a mailing address for reporting fraudulent charges I ve had to contact the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation with a complaint I see below the option to have a copy of this review sent to info AT bluebird DOT com so I will try that email next

AWFUL Tried to deposit a check from my own account drawn on another bank DENIED Then tried making a deposit of another check payable to me written by a person for whom I did work DENIED No explanation just received an email it was denied I am closing my account Don t waste your time

If I could give Bluebird zero stars I would but unfortunately I needed to give at leat one star to write a review Bluebird used to be great but now it s horrible You can not reach anyone in customer service without being hung up on numerous times and when you do finally reach someone you get the run around and different answers from one agent and to the next Save your time and look into another bank account instead of bluebird

AVIOD like covid We were scammed by a company pretending to be car reservations and the Bluebird Amex people told us too bad basically They investigated but said we authorized the purchases It wasn t a car rental that the money was used for it was a stock purchase Plus 12 purchases for a dime obviously they were checking to see if it was still active Nothing has been done to help us get our money back

Holds and Customer Service SUCK
DO NOT USE THIS ACCOUNT at Hotels Rental Car Companies UHaul - or ANYPLACE that may place a Pre-Authorization on your account Those companies will release your funds immediately or within a few days But BLUEBIRD will LIE to you and HOLD your money FOR 31 DAYS REGARDLESS I had OVER 600 outstanding at one point - in various holds of 82 92 100 each etc - each held for 31 days - regardless of how quickly the actual transactions cleared Who can afford that
