What happen to Cabelas I bought an out board motor fin last summer and never installed it still in plastic wrap Tried to return it today to buy more stuff but they won t take returns after 60 days I remember when Cabelas cared about their customers Very disappointed this reminds me why I stopped shopping here after Bass Pro bought them

placed order 9 days ago got comfirmation email right away nothing for tracking still 9 12days later called customer service and was on hold for 45 minutes to be told its probably still sitting in the warehouse no kidding no solutions or timeline given probably will never order from them again

Every time I need saltwater lures they are out you can order them Why in the hell would I order when your web site says you have them in stocks I have over 50 years experience in salt water fishing These dumb asses couldn t find their ass if it wasn t connected WHAT A JOKE FOR HUNTING FISHING STORE

EXTREMELY slow handling

Ordered items Thursday today is Tuesday tracking STILL shows the order awaiting pick up by carrier Called to check on order was told because it was standard shipping I told her that it should be called standard handling NOT standard shipping If the product is in stock WHY NOT SHIP IT OUT THAT DAY

Horrible website marketing

Cabelas website has gone so far down hill since Bass Pro took over Especially in the gun department I don t know if it all of Cabelas or just the Lonetree store but their website inventory vs actual store inventory is horribly mismatched The product search filters don t work The availability lies to you constantly The gun library is fairly well stocked but the website only shows 25 of what they actually have on hand Original Cabelas never had this problem Evidently under Bass Pro management there doesn t seem to be a concern for accurate marketing

Customers walking without wearing masks

Cabela s doesn t care about mandatory masks anymore apparently as they let people without them enter the store and shop I was there about 2 20 pm today and a white woman wearing all black with tall brown boots and blonde hair in a messy bun hairstyle was walking around the clothing section at without a mask on while carrying her baby Eyeroll Come on Cabela s seriously Let s all work together through this pandemic and make sure everyone s safe while following mandatory procedures set by the government Nobody likes the mask mandate but it protects everyone from catching a deadly virus Shame on that woman and shame on Cabela s Staff for letting her walk around

Sexist Boot Selection

I live in Northern Alberta in a fly-in community for 12 weeks out of the year Fox Lake where temperatures can get as low as -50 I find the boot selection for women disproportionate and downright sexist Not only were there no options for Bog style boots which are water resistant and insulated for -60 but there were 3 options for men all at prices lower than 200 The closest comparable price for a woman s winter boot that can actually withstand lower than -40 was 250 It s 2021 get some new boot designs WOMEN GET COLD FEET TOO

No integrity

Each time I ve made a purchase I ve been thrown back into Cabela s SPAM engine and forced to opt-out again and again I m sure their Marketing department believed the garbage they send increases sales but what they need to understand is that I went to them and being harassed by their Nazi propaganda machine is driving customers away Sadly there s a complete absence of integrity in today s marketers here s a tip for them STOP
