not returning my deposit

I have put a 500 deposit under condition my own finance will go through not only they have ordered a car which I have not confirmed as having finance and are trying to sell it me now with their finance but also are now saying I ll lose my money because I don t want the car which arrived without my confirmation Also sales guy is now denying responsibility for his words where this was my verbal agreement with him to return my deposit if they finance will fail I only choose my finance option not theirs because this is what I could afford I ll add and I didn t want to make my credit score worse by applying again for theirs Getting a response from anybody is bordering with miracle they don t respond to queries and their complaints procedure is a joke 28 days to respond whilst they hold your money STAY AWAY that s my advice no sales ethics just after your money thats it just a little update Thanks to sales manager Dan resolved the case and got the money back after a month hence raising to 2 stairs but still experience and stress not what you would expect

Pre sale service fine after sale not No refund of deposit recieved back over a week since funds were cleared for the purchase Now told it will most likely be another 3 days to clear not sure what method they are using but clearly not fit for purpose I ve recieved a holiday refund off TUI in less time and that s saying something Told false Information regarding the length of manufacturers warranty luckily I was aware of this prior by a quick Google search Needless to say it shows poor knowledge Also a delay in picking the car up delayed twice for reasons not really explained other than a genuine air filter couldn t be sourced I managed to source immedietly after being told this from the manufacturers dealer 0 5 miles away from Cars2 In short buying something from them fine any sort of customer service afterwards seems non existent Won t use again in future

Twice now booked in for a waiting

Twice now booked in for a waiting appointment to be told I havent been Second one car making unusual noise that a VW tech told me to get it looked at under warranty guess what they can t hear it but everyone else can Only solution book it in for a couple of days for them to do diagnostics on it Use my car for my work so this is not something that can be considered seeing as though it is a dual controlled car for driving instructing Got told to speak to my insurance to see if they could sort me a dual controlled courtesy car out hmm its not an accident They quite clearly found out that the tyres were at 3mm and urgently needed replacing

Aggressive sales technique car didn t have specs I asked for

Make sure you look at the worth of the vehicle before you buy with this company Very aggressive sales technique they ll apply maxmum pressure to buy on the day I managed to get 3 000 off their finance plan price but afterwards realised they d still overcharged me 1 200 based on the same car s listing on their website I also asked for a car with bluetooth and only realised after the sale that this was not what they d sold me Very frustrating

I left a review for sales which was good but the service department I had my car in the week after and they didn t fix all the problems when I got home they wouldn t answer the phone so I had a 45 mile round trip to talk to them there service manager just wanted to walk away and I did say you can have the car back at this point they booked it in for two days to sort it out but in the mean time I ve sorted it myself but if they new how there cars worked it would have been sorted ps the service manager couldn t even drive my car I had to tell him how to start it and drive it very poor service from the service department give them a wide birth

Not sure I will be back

Uzair is pleasant knowledgeable and if he doesn t know he finds out Extremely professional However what should have been a very pleasant experiences turned out to be not so good we bought a beautiful car but the day after we discovered the price we had agreed on and signed all the paperwork the actual price of the vehicle we purchased was still advertised online at a 1000 cheaper when we went back the next day to question this they said it was an admin error Also to note was that as we were sat waiting to speak to someone another car sales person was about to show the car we bought to some other prospective purchases as our car was still on the forecourt and it was only when I questioned the sales person that they then put a sold sign in the car and the Sales person not Uzair just bombarded the conversation without actually giving us a better explaination than admin error at those kind of prices admin errors should be rectified and checked immediately Anyway we threatened to walk away from the deal and that included leaving a deposit behind but they then seemed to change their minds and wanted to do a different deal Which we did we were happy and all set to collect the car on the following Friday but Monday we got a call saying it was being delivered Monday evening and it was but it was all a bit rushed for my liking what should have been a very pleasant experience from the purchase of a newer car that we were looking forward to became such a chore and a hassle and if I am being honest I don t think we would EVER consider purchasing a car from here ever again It all was just a bit unpleasant in the end But some of the sales guys are nice their not all bad

Very pushy did not seem to understand that it was just an initial look and we were not ready to buy yet Hard sell all the way but no sale now from me

Ordered my car in October 23 from cars2

Ordered my car in October 23 from cars2 Barnsley and was told it would be here 31st January It came and went but didn t hear from them so rang them up in February only to be told it would be middle of February or I could wait until March 1st and get a 24 plate so I decided to do that They called me a few days before to say I could pick it up so I said I would come in on Monday the 4th but got a call on the Saturday to say the car they had wasn t mine but there was a different colour one in the country so I agreed to have that one It took 4 weeks to arrive from tillsbury When I first ordered it I paid extra for a full tank of petrol and a set of mats When I picked it up I had to wait for the car to be filled up and there wasn t any mats Also it needed the maps and satnav updating I was told the mats were on order and would be told when they would be in also the update would be installed when I picked them up I decided to call in today as I was passing and the mats were there but no called to tell me also I told them about the update and they said the earliest they could do it was mid May You would expect it to be updated before they handed the car over The only time I have received a call from them is when they told me they had the wrong car

Customer service zero Once you sign on the dotted line the customer service disappeared Problems with car and you get ignored Stay well away and go to a dealer who cares about their customer service

Recently bought a MG HS

Recently bought a MG HS from Wakefield Had a test drive and noticed that everything was in Km not miles We were told that this would be sorted before picking the car up Unfortunately this did not happen and still waiting for it to be resolved A lovely car if I was driving in France Unfortunately not enjoyable to drive as constantly getting warnings Really poor service
