As of now CDjapan said they are moving to a bigger warehouse thus causing order delay This make me question the profession of the Company You hold item in reserve to make sure you ship to the buyer yet somehow you can t find the item no more when you transfer I get a couple of days and even weeks of delay but really it almost been a whole month For this I better be getting some sort of discount Another thing is they are not very honest when it come to the price before you know it they will sent a email stated that you need to pay more to ship your item Trust me I was a customer since 2012 Because of this incident I kinda lost hope for this site In closing I love the site still but just can t really recommended no more after this BS they pull get your act together CDJAPAN

I have bought a book from them that was expected to ship in a month and a half so I gave my normal address as I was expecting to receive it once I was back from my holiday and I even received an email confirming me the timing It was instead shipped a month earlier without prior notice so I ended up having to spend so much money to get a trans and get back home to get the parcel as otherwise they would have sent it back and I would have lost all of my money Earlier is not always best I would have appreciated being notified of the change of dates Also if you leave outside of Asia be aware that there will be customs to pay for not seller s fault of course just want to make people aware of it The book arrived safely thank god besides some small defects that where probably due to storage but I believe I can t do anything about it Not sure if I would recommend buying from

They took the money in March for an item that was released in July Six months later they ve still not shipped it and they still haven t responded to my emails that I sent 3 months ago EDIT They eventually shipped the item albeit OVER A YEAR later Updated to 3 stars

Easy to find stuff good shipment choice and good payment method choice what is not good is their customer service they email tracking number late and not their agent who reply but their Automated Email Have they even thought what are the consequences is no one is at home even if I call the courier no tracking no point

They re fine just don t listen to your requests if you have any prior pre-shipping concerns this is why I chose to take my business to Amazon Japan instead I still recommend them to others but I personally don t use them anymore given they are unwilling to listen to customers

I used EMS to send my package back and I got it in a good condition The service is good in general When you first pay for your order they tend to reserve that amount of money from your Credit Card or whatever you use They won t charge you until they send it for shipping which is the last step on their side I once had to cancel an item from one of my orders which you can do before they send it for shipping After cancelling the item they sent another request to my Credit Card to reserve the new modified amount which kinda made me think that they charged me twice since I got a new notification from my bank account regarding the new amount of money but I was wrong And I think many people get the wrong idea about this procedure and think that CDJapan charges them twice or whatsoever but NO they only reserve the amount and ONLY charge you when your order is finished and is sent to the designated shipping company -------------------------------The only thing that I don t like is their website being so slow

Read all shipping options carefully You have atleast 7 shipping options Chose a flat rate shipping that works for you If you chose the shipping that is cheapest the wait time is 5 weeks without trackingMy book was carefully packed

It s very weird to see negative reviews for this site I bought artbooks from them several times in 2018 and they all arrive within 2 weeks with Airmail delivery Their book packaging is one of the best I ve received dented boxes from famous sites like A N damaging the books inside There will be delay if your book is not listed as ready but usually they will contact you in case that happens My only gripe is the books don t have sneak peeks for the interior I had to google for that and it can really take some time

Pretty pricy but my preferred way to get imported products from japan is from CDJapan more often than not Have bought well over 50 manga volumes from them at this point and had little issue with their customer support when I needed assistance
