I had to ring 11 days after paying my premium to get the documents of my policy I am still waiting for a receipt of payment

Really liked ease of renewing policies

Really liked ease of renewing policies but Really disappointed with the following I ve been waiting 2 weeks for a document certifying no claims for past 5 years and despite nearly 3 hours of phonecalla I still haven t received it and I urgently require this documentation

I have not received my policy documents yet and its now a week overdue and I requested it by post at the time of renewal

All fine until just post renewal Got an automatic bot message telling me I needed to supply missing Finance documents from Close bros despite this only being a renewal Close Bros hasn t sent me any documents I only keep getting the same automatic email with a link telling me my Finance document is missing I communicated this with the bot on at least 3 occasions and emailed back to various customer service people who replied to my bot message as I was away abroad and couldn t ring Its now the end of July and I still haven t received anything to sign from Close Bros either electronically or via post I am only back today from holidays and rang your customer service team but of course it being Saturday there is nobody working in customer service Very poor post sales assistance

Renewed my gadget insurance

Renewed my gadget insurance automatically pay yearly Took money but never got any confirmation of insurance cover of any kind Emailed customer service Tuesday morning 6 40am and it s now Friday and still no email extremely poor customer support Very disappointing Update After leaving the 1 star review they finally sent confirmation email Review star updated

Applied for house insurance on line got a reply to click into chills website for my quote an details couldn t open it I emailed chill to say I couldn t open the email an it took so long for anyone to get back to me I had renewed my policy with another company who got back to me very quickly by phone which to be was more the personal touch

To pay for my renewal I had to call 3 times - first time cut off by staff after 16 minutes second time 6 minutes then told wrong department and third time 12 minutes Transaction handled efficiently once I got through in 3 minutes

I couldn t get a receipt off them

I couldn t get a receipt off them Multiple errors still arrived on my confirmation after I had got them to correct them for the second year in a row They have my van down as left hand drive even though I ve corrected it 2 years in a row I paid for fully comp and it says third party on my confirmation I still haven t recieved my cert

Only use chat function don t call

I wouldn t call Chill as long wait times and no one picked up My longest wait was 16minutes I tried 3 different times over 2 days The chat function is great that s definately how to contact them Although the chat back and forward and look into documents requested took nearly 2 hours to resolve I had recently taken out a policy and when I asked about cancelling it was told there was a cancellation fee When I questioned this further I was told no cancellation fee but a non-refundable fee of approx 25euro Then on cancelling I was told no fee applied and full refund applied I felt like these mentioned charges were a tactic to prevent me from cancelling which is bad practice I cancelled this policy as my issue couldn t be resolved quickly and I would have to wait to be re-quoted It was quicker to cancel and get a new quote from the chill website again

The only saving grace was Ross Ralph

I ve found them competitive however they started asking for documents and sharing a link where the upload isn t working The chat system didn t work either and the only person who I could relay on was Ross Ralph he spoke to me on the phone at lease twice took my documents and manually uploaded them he s a credit to the Company and if it wasn t for Ross I d have cancelled and taken my business else where Really need to look at their IT systems
